Ott seems more relaxed than usual. I love 3:14, where he says the car didn't let him down in Finland, but "...probably I just ran out of talent... at that speed", and then chuckled at himself. 😁
@@GaeThanos60There’s so many things nowdays what I can’t understand in WRC, this part time thing is one of them. But overall this sport took a very strange direction in recent years.
@@thelifeontwelvewheels6183 Yeah I mean it’s strange even if your think about the fact that kalle and seb don’t share the car and do let’s say half of the rally’s each, but the have separate cars and compete together many times. Which is strange because then Toyota is racing with 4 cars of even 5 as like Finland.
However, back in the day of the Group B, most or all drivers (or even teams) were part-timers, missing some rallies here and there. I don't get it why that's so foreign to the sport, especially since most rallies boast a large number of local drivers who don't race any other events.
Are we really surprised about Hyundai probably leaving after 2025 ? Im not. They took F1 Staff that will obviously always have an eye on Circuit Racing. Dont be fooled, for the like of Abiteboul and MX, Rallying is just a short detour from what they really wanna do. If the WRC would be at a more sensible place (Regulations, uncertainty of the new promoter, not enough public awareness) that maybe wouldn't be even on the table, but against F1 and in my eyes especially the WEC, WRC is nowhere.
@@donbrashsux exactly! And it absolutely begs the question why not more manufacturers are interested in Rallying when it should be the absolute proving ground for car engineering. Clearly there are reasons for it why the WRC and all of its Classes dont attract more manufacturers. And it Starts with bad promotion. The other point im trying to make here is that it feels that Hyundai lost interest in the WRC. This could be a problem, with only one big manufacturer left, the Championship is basically dead. And WEC, even though its racing with Prototypes, is clearly a success for the manufacturers taking part because it is indeed a great promotion for their brands. They really need to start to have a rethink about how Rallying becomes attractive again. Im proposing a "production Cars Rally class" with a more open approach to regulations regarding the type of motor for example. I love Rallying, its my absolute favourite form of Motorsport and im just astonished how this Series was left behind and now struggles to keep up. I just hope they can turn things around, looking at other championships and their obvious succes being a inspiration for the WRC.

That's terrible crash for him,But it seems like a basic operation to him.
If Colin can get a laugh outta Tanak. That's gold
Thanks! Appreciated the added rally (racing) footage compared to the past events.
Hell yeah, great to see Luke back in location!
1 - Tanak, 2- Evans, 3- Neuville

Great vid lads! keep goin on great content :) cant wait to see next Highlights from you. Greetings from the Czech Republic 🤙
The stage looks super smooth. In the old days they would bring in excavators to disturb the road and make it as challenging as possible.

How I wish that Taka can win a Rally, he has the potential like all of them, but he's due imho.
The GOAT, THE GOAT Colin Clark 🐐 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Haha Tanak " run out of talent "
Where is Holly?
Poor Luke Berry! It doesn't matter how well he does, he can't rival the McRae name or Hollie's million dollar smile! 😁
Less talking, more highlights
Fun fact: part time driving for Ogier means he missed 2 rallies ( and crashed on recce Poland)
Yeah I men at this point it’s not even close to part time, he is doing every rally and always has a great start position so yeah…

WRC is closer to the Family cars you purchase frm dealers than WEC or F1 is
