Lomochrome Color '92 is the latest offering from Lomography, and this is a big deal for their 30th anniversary: A NEW color film! This roll is 35mm, but 120 and even 110 are on the horizon! Color film that doesn't involve Kodak is pretty rare, so check this out ... Photos on this video were made with a Nikon F6 and a NIkonos V.

both of the models' style were perfect for this film! definitely grainy, but a fun look for sure. love the underwater shots!
Thank you! And I definitely agree ... and I have one more roll I might use under water if I can get the right colors lined up. 🤔
just received mine in the mail just in time for vacation! so stoked to try it out, looks great
Awesome!! Excited to get some more for myself, for sure. Enjoy yours and the vacation!!
Love the underwater images!
Thank you!!
The portraits were fire, love the way red looks on this film!
Thank you! And I agree! I need to shoot more red on the next roll ... I'm so excited for when they get it out on 120, too.
I am a an of those underwater shots! They are so cool! The portraits from first shoot look lovely as well in that warm light. Can't wait to try this film whenever I get it sometime in August hopefully
Thank you!! I hope it comes out ASAP, and I hope they can launch 120 soon, too. And if they can keep putting out some version of this every couple of years like they do the other Lomochrome films, I'll be very happy.
Aye thank you so much for the shout out!! I LOVE how your portraits came out- the balance of primary colours was a really great choice for this stock- it shows off how the colors render really well, while also playing to the strengths of the stock! I'm glad you got some great results :D
You're so welcome!! And thank you! I'm excited to try it on more situations and really learn its ins and outs.
Love your videos, and most importantly your photos. Bought a few rolls of 92 and keen to try it out soon. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, I really appreciate that! I definitely need to pick up a few more rolls now that they're shipping again. Feel free to share your results!
Well done Jamie, you got some fantastic images from Color 92 that perfectly suited it! Keen to see if you shoot anymore of it 😊
Thank you!! I'll definitely be shooting more. Hopefully this weekend if I can kick this illness completely. :)
Wow had no idea this film was coming. Pre-ordering now! Also wonderful shots that really capture the character of the film Jamie.
Oh cool! Surprise new film is always awesome. :) Thank you, and I hope you enjoy it!
Great to see this film in a totally different setting from what I'd do! Love your (properly exposed) results. Good stuff.
Thank you! I'm excited to shoot more of this ... maybe tomorrow if all works out well.
I just ordered 3 rolls. Looking forward to shooting it. Thanks for the share!
Awesome! I need to order some more because this was a lot of fun to play with, and I'm excited to see what else I can do with it.
Those underwater shots look so good!!
Thank you!! They're fun and hopefully I'll get to do some more very soon.
these are great. my color `92 shots aren't NEARLY as grainy as this, though. wow.
Nice! I feel like it's changed throughout the batch, so I'm interested to shoot even more. And thank you!
What filters did you use? Or was my ears deceive me...great video...ordered a roll...
Hello!
I used a Hoya softener A for some of the shots, and fog from the humid day on a couple of others maybe. ha ha. Thank you!
Not sure I will be trying that film but I think you got some nice shots with it. I especially liked the underwater images Thanks for sharing Take care : ) Teddy
Thank you! I can see why it's not for everyone, but it's definitely a nice alternative for the right subjects. I hope you take care, as well! :)
@@JamieMPhoto absolutely
Shot 5, 8, 10, 12 all very good portraits. Maybe worthy of shooting in 120 format to reduce prominence of grain?
Thank you! Likely so, though the 120 wasn't out yet. I do like it now that it's available, though!
@@JamieMPhoto it's funny, the grain is quite unique on this film with that color noise. It reminds me quite closely of the early days of plate color photography when they used potato starch and "autochrome" photography as per: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autochrome_Lumi%C3%A8re
#12 is a great portrait with that unique grain!
Not all the scenes of me dancing 😭😭
Aww, I like them!!
oh i genuinely enjoyed the good vibes your dancing provided :)
Your shots and compositions are great! But looks like one film I’m gonna skip out on.
Thank you! Yeah, this is a bit of a niche film, but for anyone who dabbles in the expired film realm, this is an especially nice option (for example).
Hola!, que carrete puede ser similar a este que haya stock
Hello! If I translated correctly: Similar film could be Orwo NC500 (it's not as good) and Adox Color MIssion. Color Mission is more saturated, but I would say it's the closest that's easier to find. It's honestly not too different from expired Portra NC. 🤔
I still don't know how I feel about this stock. I guess I'll have to get a few rolls and try it out for myself!
I like that it's sort like an expired roll of film, except much more predictable. An alternative to ultra clean looks, and an embrace of the more unique aspects of film photography that are harder to copy authentically. I don't think I'd ever make it my main film, but I am sure interested in keeping a steady supply of it. Definitely worth trying!
Same, I see different results, but still curious to try 😅
kinda wish it had a DX code...
Yeah, I do wish they had that! Makes me want to get some of those DX Code stickers.
The pictures are good, but dude, why are you so nervous while shooting?
Don't think I'm particularly nervous. But thank you!
These were pretty badly underexposed. Need to meter
Did you listen to the part of the video where I said I underexposed some of them? And exposure is just a guideline, anyway.
