I broke down and got one. I was on the fence but the upgrades promo kind of pushed me over the edge. Especially considering I need a more mobile headset right now given my busy schedule. Planets kind of aligned. My current PCVR setup is annoying. I feel like with the XR elite. You can just put it on and jump in VR without much preparation. 3 cables, 1 pc, 2 dongles, and 2 power cords currently is a bit much.. with the XR one link cable at most I’m hoping or wireless… that’s what makes it worth it to me
Make sure you configure the streaming software. By default it has poor bitrate settings and it emulates Vive Cosmos controllers (turn off controller compatibility mode in the streamer to fix). Or just use virtual desktop or ALVR.

Sure Quest2/3 would’ve probably been better economically, but I didnt want to sell my soul…

Gonna be honest, I got a circuit board that converts 12-30v DC to usb-c power and connected it to a power tool battery.
