@@javierdiaz4763 I've seen these glasses look small on other youtubers where as I've seen them also wear a pair of xreal air 2 glasses and they looked the right size. I think these glasses are just little.
I can't take you seriously with the way you wear the glasses...which is perfect. Also to the people designing these AR glasses, make them larger than normal because the size of the eye lens should be larger than normal sunglasses & not silly small like how Brett is wearing them. 😂
- FOV is terrible - resolution is terrible bc these are projections/reflections and not actual screens - battery would've been even worse - the stuff above don't matter bc it still wouldn't work, it doesn't have any sensors to track your hands or your environment, or display stuff correctly in your space. This is a very barebones device barely doing any computing
I've tried the Xreal Air1, as a concept for portable/compact monitor is really cool idea, but it just feels like not there yet. Biggest problem is the narrow fov (which I think is fixable now). For using an anchored 3dof screen, you have to either zoom the monitor and have the edge of the screen cropped out, or have it super small so you can fit a screen inside the fov and still can move a bit. The pixel per degree is good enough, i think a bigger fov would've been a lot more useful.
I feel like this should have already been done years ago; we have the technology. Personally, I envision this format (eyeglasses), but with larger screens like sunglasses and accelerometer/gyros like cell phones and usable with a PC via a docking station.
Thank you for your review! We're so glad you're enjoying VITURE Pro - we can really tell that it's helped solve a lot of the issues you mentioned at the beginning!
Hi, I'm looking at something kind of close to your product, but the 1080p resolution is somewhat limiting for my use case, and I have a few other questions. (For context, I'm a software engineer, I'm mostly uninterested in video games, and I have written my entire environment myself using a tiling window manager on Linux) 1. What DDC properties does the device support setting over USB-C or HDMI? 2. Is there a published API for communication between an attached computer and the device? Alternatively, is the a library for communicating with it? 3. Is there any plan for a higher resolution version, ideally 1440p or 2160p? 60Hz is fine (at least in my case) 4. While the integrated app store is a great feature for many people, it happens to be antithetical to how I have prefer my environment, which is all strictly FOSS. Is there a stripped down version that is effectively just a "dumb monitor"? I understand, of course, that while what I'm looking for is well within your capabilities, it may not be of interest to enough customers to make it worth mass producing, so I completely understand no matter what. Thanks!
@VITURE I'm visually impaired. I see at about 1". I cannot see my monitors and only use my phone now because i can put it up to my eyes (but my hands fatigue). Would these glasses help me see my computer, TV, or switch/phone (without holding it up to my face the entire time)?
I just bought these during the Amazon Prime day sale and have sent them back. I am shortsighted and these were my first pair of XR glasses. I chose these because of the built in dials to adjust for short sightedness. The problem is, the virtual screens would be sharp but all surrounding "see through" areas would be blurred due to my short sightedness. At no fault of the device, it doesn't work for me as I am unable to see my physical keyboard clearly nor my laptop screen (for extended virtual screen workspace). Having said that, Skywalker app for MacOS is pretty cool, allowing 3 side by side screens in different layouts.
He’s definitely not wearing the glasses low enough on this ears lmao. Notice how high the arms are. It doesn’t look nearly as goofy on other youtubers. But yeah it does look small on him lolol
The original Viture One glasses had the issue that if you were larger than average, i.e. your eyes are further apart and your head is wider, then you would not be able to set both eyes to focus correctly over the whole screen - anything off-center would be skewed and off-focus. Are these built so that the spacing between the two displays/lens is configurable?
Viture pro glasses and dock with neck attachment is a one stop shop for all needs 3d Blu-ray ps5 and all Samsung galaxy features with Netflix etc and the image is surprisingly crisp for 1080p glad I bought them I've been comparing XR glasses for the last few years and these are currently the best and the only ones that cover all bases cost $760.00 see with everything mentioed plus including a charging optional cable.
