Great video, currently following while breaking down same model. Having a shifting issue, the Shift Shaft seems to be slipping out of the Shift Drum enough to bind on the first up shift from bottom. Thanks for taking the time to show this break down.
Didn’t even notice that the piston was on backwards!!

Brother from where I can get engine parts for ke 175 1980 model
I second this. When I make room for this project I'm gonna need a decent source for parts and can't seem to find one. Currently have no compression so I'm thinking stuck rings possibly worse and also seems to only have 4 gears and won't shift into 5th gear.
Where are the points on my ke175? I've been looking for awhile starting to feel kinda STUPID.
