For those who are still listening to this so-called compilation album, thank you. I didn't expect this to have growing views, even in such small scale. I don't usually do these types of videos; I mainly makes my own music under moniker "Harmony In Ultraviolet". It's basically all over my channel. If you gave them a listen, I could just say I appreciate you for stopping by.
@@jeremyharris479 Little Joy performed a similar song to Clear Skies, it is called All the Hours You Wanted. Though it has never been officially recorded in the studio.
Thank you for this!! It’s great having it all together here. The strokes are insane man. Not only are their demos bops, their live performances Always somehow make their songs EVEN better?! How is that even possible. I wish they could release live version albums, !! 💜 :]
They are demos after all. They had to find cohesion and freshness rather than being another rip-off band. But still, some demos I wish they had recorded them in the studio.
@@harmonyinultraviolet Yeah. I just find it interesting how they kinda sound like some british bands that emerged in later years(that are probably inspired by them) I feel like these demos have a slightly different vibe from those that eventually made it into studio albums, which is cool. I really like "Sagganuts" and it sounds very post-punk. I wish more of these were in the studio album too...even just as a B side.

Is unfair that Clear Skies, being a solid song, isn't officially released.
Great video!
If I had the money I would pay them big bucks for them to release it and perform it lol
Reminds me of Little Joy a bit, Fabs first side project

I AM A SENTIMENTAL MAN, I TRIED TO REACH TO GOD WITH JUST ONE HAND

I love this so much
Thank you so freaking much
Is it just me finding the demos from live shows in 2000 almost sound more like the Libertines than the Strokes?😂

Yeah it does sounds like Pete Demos.
It would be great an album with all that material from the concerts and his beginnings before Is This It
13:43 you can hear "At Your Door"
I hear "Games" off "Angles"
@@derppopotamus it is def games from angles lol i can recognize it anywhere normies wont care for that album tho

I don’t know why but I love obstinate so much more than the actual ahj song
@@fisherkhongmaly9893 it got that is this it production and more raw but still intimate vocals than the ahj one
The riff from Life's a breeze kind of sounds kinda like chorus riff in meet me in the bathroom.
NOICE
julian sounds like michal cera in the first song
You mean "Obstinate"? That's Albert Hammond Jr.'s singing.
@@harmonyinultraviolet i didn't know that!
@@carlocortsz There is a full song Albert made from the same demo called "In Transit".
