01/22/24 1:14 I always liked the method of plugging the screw holes. 2:09 the router method is great here. I like how you added the veneer. 4:02 nice and choochy 4:22 stacking you material to make identical cuts on to pieces. 8:03 pencil trick 9:54 really coming together 11:49 I always liked this project.
CNC AND HAND CARVING, nice complementary techniques. Somebody else might have just pulled it off the router bed and glued it down, but once again your attention to detail pays off. It looks really cool.
Simply amazing. You never cut corners and always put in the extra time for the details. And it shows. Showed my dad the WitchBlade II! He told me I could never afford one after the number of hours you put in it! LoL! All prototypes are that way though I guess. LoL! Thank you for another Great video Jimmy.
I live in vietnam , but see notes makes beautiful items like this , then indeed I was quite impressed with uncle Thank you very much for creativity and patience
A lot of people have been commenting things relating to how Jimmy is so 'cocky' and 'proud of himself' etc etc because he puts his names on things. Thats not why he does it (although he has plenty of reason to be proud of himself) its because his videos often get stolen and re-uploaded without reference to his channel. If everything in his shop has his name on it, it is obvious who the content was originally made by and also people will search around and actually find him and his channel.
+Lacob Marks Listen, I don't blame him since it's a away of advertising his name, business, and channel. We all need money to survive in today's world. If his videos help him make money while still providing us with awesome content then I gladly accept his name on everything. But to say he does it to protect his videos is absolute hogwash.
I think I must have watched all Jimmy's videos several times over! I don't know what amazes me more, the skill or the imagination!! love watching this stuff, keep the vids comin'
Посмотрел много ваших роликов!Вы хороший мастер в разных областях!Инструмента много и станков!Спасибо за ваши видео-много у вас перенял-хотя и сам много чего умею!Привет из России!Удачи восемь раз!!!!!!!!
Jimmy there should be a law against any one person having as much talent as you do. This project, as all of yours that I've seen, is beyond super great. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic job! You make it look so easy. Time consuming, but easy. But I'm sure the "looks easy" is directly proportional to experience and talent. That's why it does and you do.
I wish I had 1/99th of your fabricating/woodworking abilities. I can barely join 2 pieces of wood together with screws correctly. Good thing I'm good at what I'm good at! Keep up to good works and awesome videos!
Your skills seem to be limitless Jimmy, Ive watch all of the Dirty Money episodes I could find, also some of the Hammered and Cash For Trash episodes. Youre very inspiring to me as a car guy that loves working and making things with his hands. Keep up the great work and please never stop making these videos!
very inspiring. makes me want to take up my old skills from school (modelcarpenter) as i never worked as sadly. there ain't any better feeling when you finnished a project that you created with your hands. thanks great videos. from swede who dont want to work in an office any more.
You still amaze me every time I watch a project. Thanks a lot! You're incredibly good at this. You've got a talent for this and I am very pleased to see that you're sharing your experience and passion with others. As I can read in the description there are many others that admire your work! Thanks again.
great use of onion skin. cool seeing the technique followed up with a belt sander. of all the people using cnc in their videos you are one of the few who really seems to understand the technology.
Once again, great stuff. Skilled hands make fast work. Like your use of new technology (CNC router) and old (hand chiseling) to create the finished product. (The thumbs downs aren't understanding the real complexity here.)
holy shit Jimmy, I gotta say this is probably one of my favorite builds so far. Dont know why, everything you produce is aweomse, I guess I just really liked the little details you put into this one. As always . GREAT FUCKING JOB .
Thank you for the high speed silent video. Clearly you understand the frustration of watching and listening how-to videos drone on. I agree with previous comments about your free-hand technique. The CNC machine is a bit out of my reach!!
Awesome vid! I loved the footage where your camera was following the CNC router around. I don't think you've done that before - at least not in that manner. It looked really cool.
@jimmydiresta I love your work and at the same time it makes me ask myself... "What the heck I'm doing with my life?" lol and you empower me to continue on my projects at the same time :) thank you. Cheers and good luck to you on all your goals and projects.
i find the sound of the speed up tools strangly relaxing
Same
It's almost hypnotic
I expect Benny Hill to pop out and pat an old bald guy on the head when I hear it.
Sped up hammer is my favorite.
It's like a white noise machine isn't it? Kind of soothing.

Wow, very nice looking.
thank you brother !!!
CNC AND HAND CARVING, nice complementary techniques. Somebody else might have just pulled it off the router bed and glued it down, but once again your attention to detail pays off. It looks really cool.
Double thumbs up! The carving of the leaves takes it next level!
Genius and the hardest working man on RUclips.
Now that's an Awesome looking Dartboard set up. Nice work Jimmy..Thank you for sharing......
Who else though he was making an actual dart board. Not to be mean, what you did make was (as always) amazing.
thought* just being helpful
I thought he was making a dart board too.
Me too.
Yep, a dart board, not a box.
Holy cow this guy is on FIRE ! He just reinvented the dartboard !
Ha Ha....once the finish went on, the puppy / dog became clear! love it!!!!!
JIMMY. WOW!! MAN WHAT A GREAT JOB!!!!! WHAT CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!!!!!!!! NICE TO SEE THAT YOU REALLY TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. Liked it when you used the chisels to texture the leaves.
Jimmy you are a creative genius second to none.
Wow Jimmy just WOW. Your craftsmanship is mind blowing. Kudos
Fantastic. Just when I thought you were done you added all the detail with the chisel. Love it big fan....
Loved the idea of using the chisel on the details like you did, very nice touch!
Awesome like always! Loved the fact the you gave a handmade look with your chisel to the CNC cut artwork!
Very detailed distressing after vcarving. Staining and wiping to reveal and highlight the focal object is nice touch.
By far & away my most favourite piece of work of your's so far, you are a truly skilled artisan.
that was a tremendous amount of work, all the hand details. just absolutely amazing.
Very nice! I really liked how you started out with CNC and then went at it with hand tools to rusticify it. Good stuff!
Very cool. I'm impressed on how you took the edges off of the logo to give it the hand carved look.
I live in vietnam , but see notes makes beautiful items like this , then indeed I was quite impressed with uncle
Thank you very much for creativity and patience

It's his brand

Unless he says why he does it on his videos then keep your trap shut.
Dill Wiggle well he did so all you did was a loss of time effort and confidence. do like all the rest and reason.
AWESOME! When I grow up I wanna be just like Jimmy! I love ya man.
Beautiful work there Jimmy , It is a joy to watch you working .
I think I must have watched all Jimmy's videos several times over! I don't know what amazes me more, the skill or the imagination!! love watching this stuff, keep the vids comin'

Dammit, Jimmy! Ingenuity personified. You can't teach some of that stuff. That is just pure awesomness.
I love waking up in the morning and seeing there´s a new Diresta movie up.
What was new can be old again....nice chisel work Jimmy!
Gluing up the short pieces so the grain on the top molding runs vertically with the rest of the panel is a nice touch. Good work.
Jimmy there should be a law against any one person having as much talent as you do. This project, as all of yours that I've seen, is beyond super great. Thanks for sharing.
If they made his talent illegal, everyone would be as talented, just to defy the law.
That is one beautiful piece of art. What a craftsman.
VERY NICE AND A LOT OF DETQILED HAND STUFF,GUY IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES!!!!!!
I love how you gave it the "hand-carved" look...wonderful craftsmanship!
Fantastic job! You make it look so easy. Time consuming, but easy. But I'm sure the "looks easy" is directly proportional to experience and talent. That's why it does and you do.
An excellent example of new technology blended with old world craftsmanship; you are a master of both. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
Very nice you showed a lot of good woodworking skills in this video. Thanks.
Another inspiring display of talent, (woodworking, video, editing). Thank you DiResta!!!
Bringing home the makin once again!!! Nice job pal!!
can I just take a moment to say how much I freaking love these????
Nice build Jimmy. Lovin the screw tote
My favorite channel hands down. Thanks for the upload.
I wish I had 1/99th of your fabricating/woodworking abilities. I can barely join 2 pieces of wood together with screws correctly. Good thing I'm good at what I'm good at! Keep up to good works and awesome videos!
That's awesome that you hit it with some chisels to give it the hand carved look. Great job!
Really really beautiful, I loved the hand chiseling!

Very, very nice. I love the CNC work.
The texturing was something I didn’t anticipate. That was a great idea
Another masterpiece, and a cool video. Keep them coming, man!
Hey Jimmy. Once more great work. I think that you could also make the dart board as well by using different stains on wood or different woods.
You still amaze me every time I watch a project. Thanks a lot! You're incredibly good at this. You've got a talent for this and I am very pleased to see that you're sharing your experience and passion with others. As I can read in the description there are many others that admire your work! Di Resta Shop tips #58:
Always work the chisel towards your wrist! :D
I know your being silly but if you carve you'd know you can safely use your wrist. Not your shoulder to push the chisel.
jimmydiresta
silly, moi? ;)
jimmydiresta your chisels are so sharp, you wouldn't even notice it :D
+jimmydiresta You're *

This is a very nice and amazing construction. I like it . 10 out of 10.
Jimmy Great job as usual!!In my eyes your transforming from a fine wood worker to an artist!!Great work bud!!
Looks like some oak with an ebony/dark walnut stain. Looking good.
Once again, great stuff. Skilled hands make fast work. Like your use of new technology (CNC router) and old (hand chiseling) to create the finished product. (The thumbs downs aren't understanding the real complexity here.)

Had me guessing 'till the end! It turned out very "crafty" as usual.
