Mijas Pueblo Spain // Possibly the most beautiful white village in Andalusia // Family Travel

Stop four of our European summer vacation is Mijas, Spain.
Mijas is a municipality in the Province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Located on the southeastern coast of Spain, Mijas belongs to the region of Costa del Sol and popular with locals.
One of the most beautiful features of Mijas is its white-washed village homes, which contrast with the green hills and the blue sea. The houses are decorated with colourful flowers, ceramic pots and iron balconies, creating a picturesque and romantic atmosphere. The hiking is hot!
We were lucky to have dear friends who live in Mijas that were the most amazing hosts. They made our trip extra special showing us local, secret restaurants, beaches, shops and hot spots!
