Oki was very close with Valdesi at the last world championships losing 2-3. Oki beat Antonio 3-2 at Karate1 Istanbul just a month ago. I still think Antonio will win in Paris, but let's just say it's not 100% guaranteed :).
actually contrary to what you said there are more players than just diaz and valdesi now. itaru oki (japan) won 3-2 over antonio in istanbul just a month earlier, so he's a big contender. there's also leong tze wai (malaysia) who beat oki at the asian championships a few months ago. I still think antonio is going to win, but it's not necessarily going to be him and valdesi in the final.
After these many months, it proved that we both were right from different point of view but I never expected he lost in the semi-final and in my opinion it was a joke!
