Big Update: Need Positive Vibes

- Sharing a big update today, and I'm in need of all the positive vibes you got.
I visited my surgeon two days ago to discuss my recovery, the increased pain I've been having, and more. He cauterized my wound again since it is healing weird and slowly in the center. Then we discussed my pain and mobility.
Over the past 2 months I've been having increasing pain in and around my wound (where the bones/joint were cut out and on the other side by my left SC joint). We are hoping that it is just my body healing and adjusting to its new self. I experienced a ton of nerve damage, and we are praying that the increased pain is from nerves regenerating. However, that type of pain is usually more surface level and superficial. The pain I'm experiencing is deeper, different, and feels like it's coming from my bones. My nurse and surgeon are hopeful that the osteomyelitis is not back. They feel that the odds of that happening are low; however, with no known cause of why I had osteomyelitis in the first place (all test and cultures came back negative), they've advised me to get a CT scan. The pain has been very limiting for my mobility and activity. I've been put on a couple new pain meds, which make me feel not like myself. The nerve pain med really effects my brain and balance, but I'm taking it in hopes that it helps. So far it hasn't, which has me worried.
All of this wears on my mental health. I'm doing my best to stay positive through this entire experience, but at times it is incredibly difficult. I'm generally a very positive and optimistic person, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared.
I humbly ask you all to send positive vibes, pray, contribute to my GoFundMe if you're able to, and offer support however you can. This entire experience has been one of the hardest things I've gone through. It is taking more than a village to keep me going.
My CT scan is tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping that I will hear positive news early next week saying that there is no osteomyelitis anymore and that I can start 2022 off with a win. I would love to be able to focus more energy on my recovery and rehab.
I'm forever grateful for all the love and support from people far and wide. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you for helping me survive so that I can one day thrive again and give back to the world in the many ways I plan to continue doing.
