I finally got the Eibach lowering springs in and had them installed onto my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Last week I got my 22x9.5 inch Hellcat replica wheels in wrapped in Nitto 420V tires and the wheel gap and rake on the Jeep Grand Cherokee didn't look very good with the new wheels and tires put on. Thankfully Eibach makes a nice set of lowering springs that replace the OEM Factory MOPAR springs. You can also do SRT springs, but I like the drop of the Eibach springs on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude.

I wish the special edition eibach’s would fit the 3.6 v6 it would definitely give you a lower look not saying the pro kit is bad I personally myself like the pro kit because it still gives you some clearance but a lot of ppl would prefer the special edition eibach’s

Air suspension makes it difficult... not sure if you can do much lol
I had a shop install the same springs but I think they installed the rear springs in the front nd vice versa because it’s storing way lower in the front than the rear.. is that even possible to install the rear springs in the front ?
Not sure if that’s possible but it should be sitting fairly level
Figured it would feel better planted with the new springs lowering your center of gravity, but how is the ride quality? I mean hitting potholes, speed bumps, railroad tracks, bad pavement, etc. I've heard some say it's better lowered, but I'm still on fence about reducing suspension compliance in addition to reducing tire sidewall.
How would you compare your current set up to stock as far as ride comfort?
I really don't notice a difference as far as potholes etc feel it may feel better because of the fresh tires if anything. I think the biggest thing I notice is going around corners!
Does it matter if the ones on Amazon say for v6 or v8? Can only find springs for v8.
I believe mine was specific for the v6
Did that to mine and had the worst thump in the passenger right rear. Had to put coil spring isolators in it, did you have any issues. Plus i would have liked to be lowered 1 more inch all around. But nobody makes a kit for that i guess.

Did you end up getting an alignment? I ordered my Eibach springs cant wait until they come in looks so much better when the vehicle is lowered. I spoke to a few mechanics and they are saying to do alignment right after you lower the vehicle. Do you feel a difference in the way the vehicle drives after getting it lowered?
You definitely need to get an alignment after it's installed! It feels a bit more planted when taking curves etc for sure
Did you have nivomat shocks stock? Self leveling suspension on your wk2? I have the same nittos as well on 22s but 285-40 I should be able to clear that hey if I went with that same eibach lowering kit?
You should be able to! Everything is stock besides the eibach springs on mine

Appreciate the love! The eibach springs would probably be your best bet! You can also look into the MOPAR SRT springs and see if those would fit your price / needs better.

What is the purpose of lowering it
It decreases the body roll a lot when cornering, but I mainly did it to tuck the wheels betters and remove the rake that the jeeps come with!

I like the tires and rims but I guess I'm old school, I kind of like the way the stock GC sits higher in the back jacked up.
