An excellent, spirited performance! Bravi to soloists, orchestra and conductor. Philip Glass is a treasure, and I am happy that so many people perform his music.
wow ♥️🎻🎻🌞. there is no words for such a brilliant and magnificent and touching performance with musicians vibrating to such a high frequency of expression and beauty ✨🌞
Awesome! While watching these two ladies perform and listening to what they were playing, I was reminded of a humming bird and a bumblebee fighting over a flower - the speed and aggression of the humming bird contrasting with the slow deep determination of the bumble bee! So beautiful. Thank you for your presentation, skill and heart - you capture the imagination!
Philip Glass - Double Concerto for Violin and Cello 00:21 - Duet No.1 02:59 - Part 1 08:45 - Duet No.2 11:49 - Part 2 20:21 - Duet No.3 22:06 - Part 3 27:09 - Duet No.4 Vivaldi - The Four Seasons concerti, Op.8 32:34 - C. No.4 "Winter", I. Allegro non molto 37:14 - C. No.2 "Summer", III. Presto
Every time I hear them play Kristine Balanas 🎻& Margarita Balanas 🎻 it is emotional here especially with Philip Glass I perceive a degree of Superlative emotion
Génial duo ! GORGIOUS ! desde Bartok string dúos, non audite una música así, fuerza I corazón... so delightful music! Since "Einstein on the beach",that was a little desapointing on stage(I stood 5 hours on a seven hours long) , Phil Glass became a Master! concerti per duetti where rare since Vivaldi, integrating chamber music delightfully! I'm deceived each time I hear the double or triple from Beethoven or Brahms, even with brighting stars like Rostropovitch. But today, that a great moment for me! Thank for this sharing!
Well Ladies, you smashed that glass, as it were - pulchritudinous. thanks for those most beautifully rendered sound waves I just listened to in 7.1 :DD Like a needle on vinyl :)

Boy you where fantastic and so was.your sister just awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 😎 👌 and least you perform with your blood instead of a stranger !!!! I'm sure your your realation with your sister is unbreakable I've seen u play with her a couple of times ⏲️ 😏 🙄 everything was so wonderful
After the main theme no interest until 18 mins into the piece when we hear those wonderful Glassian arpeggios whirling and twirling. Where is the sonic direction? More orchestral involvement would give warmth maybe in the brass. Instead we have glass brooding in these inconsequential little vignettes with the soloists. The structure is too even. Dull drab without being moving or touching. Listen to Saties furniture music at least it has a pleasant rhythmic drift. We expect more from one of the greatest living composers. Music for insomniacs.
Glass's music has to be heard as developping in space instead that in time. I find more repetition in Beethoven than in Glass: it is just a way of listening.

I am so glad the world sees Philip Glass's music as imbued with genius as I do.

Очень понравилось эмоциональное исполнение концерта Гласса. Сестры Баланас превосходны, оркестр с дирижером великолепны!
Спасибо!
Philip Glass is one of the Greatest Composer in history of MUSIC. He found a NEW LANGUAGE OF MUSIC.
Actually others were doing minimalism before him. But he popularized it.
❤❤❤
