whoah --- harlem was famous before HipHop and would say the energy in the city of the 70s creative hiphop movement as many of the 4 elements were already thriving in 1973 and later.. graff was already in las calles ... rock dancing was big in Bushwick ... DJ of disco was popping ... emcee came later .. from my understanding .. now BeeBop .. that Jazz subgenre always leads me to Hiphop ... as I learned later.. Harlem is a Mecca for culture... heck I got my OLAF shorts in the 90s from east side.. and I am from Jamaica Queens .. QGTM
