The fact that all this talent came from a group of friends is INSANE
Childhood friends at that. Biggie and Jay-Z also went to the same High School
Facts McGruff was 1 one of my early top 5
The list is endless
The universe lined everything up to turn out exactly how it all did. It was written before any of us was even born. 💯
Jay and Biggie didn't really click until they were in the game. Jay was older than him. Jaz and Jay is a better reference.
Cam want everybody to know how Dope Ma$e was and Mas$e dont give af 😂
Real friend!
Right
I actually think stories like this is why cam thought mase was soft and why he could go at him for like 20 years. Cause he know the skeletons.
Ma$e is truly in a free space right now. He could care less what anyone thinks of him. Cam never thought Mase was soft. It was that Cam was mad that Mase let a nigga like Puffy take control of his image. That's why Cam never fucked with Bad Boy
@@petej7002 cam got way more skeletons tho. tru life used to terrorize cam and dipset. he was robbing those guys every other week. wearing their chains in videos. can't forget about cam and jimmy being chased at the rucker either
One of the best parts about this besides listening to Mase tell the story is that you can see that Cam is genuinely excited about talking about this stuff. Really enjoy listening to them talk about the old days.

50 & Yayo .. Cam & Mase .. this is what friendship looks like! Salute to these gentlemen!🤙🏽
50 and Yayo is not friendship, atleast not from my perspective. They never have back and forth conversations like Cam and Mase. Its always Yayo glorifying 50 and 50 talking about Yayos loyalty. Loyalty should be a silent part of friendship, the foundation thats never seen but the people that built it understand the science behind it.
@@sebastienc.2257 you're young.. all 4 guys are child hood friends.. that was the point.. We call him 50 Yayo calls him "Boo Boo".. Cam calls Mase "Murda" Mase calls Cam "Flea" again.. that's what I mean by friends.. 🤙🏽
50 is a mixed bag when it comes to Yayo. Yayo was fucking up heavy in the beginning but 50 still kept him close. Then I see a video of 50 throwing Yayo in some bushes in front of a group of people lol
I don't know about that. Cam, Mase and Jimmy be friends one year and enemies the next. Mase diss song at Cam was hard and personal. I couldn't have a friend of mines diss me like that and then we become friends again. Them three got a weird ass friendship.
Don't confuse their public personas with how they are in real life. Real friends & family have falling outs & get back together.. the issue is everyone with an opinion. Their personal lives & relationships don't reflect the reality they feel these celebrities should have.. so when I hear "perspective" I tube out.. yikes!
Cam filling in the little details 😂🙏🏾

Party Arty a battle rap legend. Fire shout out in that story (RIP).
Big L was exactly who he said he was and went out that way. He was easily the best out of Harlem with the most potential. And Cam and Mase got every right to feel how they feel about ol boy. They alive, he’s not. He would’ve easily fit right in on the desk 25 years later, but he was street struck.
💯 sad truth
He’d be on the desk if he took his own advice

Children of the corn is a classic. Love hearing these old stories from back in the day. Rip Big L and Bloodshed AKA Blood Dibiase. Salute to Cam and Mase.
One of the dopest stories thus far. Cam and Mase transparency is what sets them apart. And the thing is a really heard these names in the early raps. Shouts out to IIWII. Ppl find it hard to believe the hate and jealousy was real.
It’s a book called Ethylene: The Rise And Fall Of The 139TH ST NFL Crew that goes in depth about all of this. It was a lot of treachery surrounding Big L (R.I.P), his brother Big Lee (R.I.P) and the whole 139TH ST crew. The guy that killed Big L, Big L tried to set him up to get killed prior to Big L losing his life. It was so much going on in Harlem during those days.
Allegedly one of the Junior Mafia members got robbed for Big’s (R.I.P) chain by one of Big L’s (R.I.P) crew members. When Big tried to get the chain back he was told the only way to get it back was to “take it in blood”. The chain that was taken is allegedly the chain that Big L has on for his album the Big Picture.
The guy that took the chain was from L block. He let L borrow the chain one night then he was shot n killed afterwards
@@nowbornspiral lol naw that album cover was made AFTER Big L died
We were told to stay away from "Crime Square" back when we were teenagers. My aunt worked in the State Office Building on 2-5th, and we would wander over there (Jimbo's had the best burgers and it was on that block) from time to time. One of the chicks who I knew way back moved to 141st mid-block between Lenox and 7th... she was gone from there in NO TIME. Cats just grimy all around over on that side back then.

What’s crazy, is that this answered my question on why “ya’ll never produced an bio pic about Big L” thanks for telling us you’re side of the story

as he should😂
I like to imagine if L was still alive today, he’d probably be there to tell this story and laugh about it with cam and mase, god I love this show
Ultimately, it’s that griminess that got L permanently deleted, imo. Can’t consistently do bad and think everything is sweet. A “brother” will never rob his family. L was a snake, not a brother.
That was a dope hood story! Love whem Ma$e shares his war stories
This is why Mase felt a way when Jim Jones told him about dudes plotting on him. cam told that story on IG live a while back.
I'm a disciple of Big L's NOW because when he was alive i was too young. Im thirty seven so everyone younger than me who enjoys L's mellifluous measures of incontestably rich bon mots & double entendres is in that boat Mr Giles is referring to. That's a lot of people . That's a true testament to Big Ls craftsmanship
Big L looks and raps like a grimey dude lol
Rich and Poe without the betrayal … y’all so smart keep going up killa n Murda 😂😂😂😂😂
"Dead rappers get better promotion" explains Big L perfectly.
Yessir
Not a Jada bar!!!
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. For some people it elevates them, for others it doesn’t. Nipsey was elevated when he died, but DMX wasn’t. Big Pun is another one who death didn’t really help out. Dead rappers can be hit or miss imo in getting better promotion.
they got the funniest stories ever the way they tell dem joints is hilarious
Long live Party Arty, i did not expect that name drop
INCREDIBLE interview. I couldn’t have imagined Cam could one up himself with this show. I don’t miss these episodes. IIWII, balls deep in football season and Ma$e been swallowin Mahomes kids whole, I may just tune into player’s choice. Talk With Flea is MUST SEE TV. Pause on all that.
L was setting dudes up for Lee. That’s how he got popped. Then dude got popped when he came home years later.
Oh he was legitimately setting fools up and putting them in crosses? Lee a shit caller?
It puts things into perspective. I’ll say this him even setting Ma$e up makes him seem like a grimey ass dude and makes me look at his death different. Kind of seems like it was karma or get back and not just a fucked situation that ended up in a legend dying
That's what I was thinking, I'm like Damn So L was really setting Niggas up.
