That's one thing about a working ranch, never a time where there isn't something to do! This weather sure makes it more pleasant to tackle your list and spend more constructive hours outside....and you get your fill of Vit D in the process!! Thanks for the update, it was fun to watch! As far as the algae problem, Have you ever looked into using Barley straw in the pond? It’s safe for fish and animals.
I’m sure there are some RUclips videos about it.

Hi Erin. Love the way you’re handling things on the ranch. I also love seeing the ranch from your perspective. Great that things are getting cleaned up and organized, I'm into organizing myself, if you can't tell. I'm kind of OCD about it but I feel that’s a good thing. Saves so much time being organized, and the ranch will look better, especially for the visitors. Keep on, girl! ( btw, can't you block that fowl person? I would)

Dang, you're doing such a great job and you're doing a LOT, Erin! The pump for the duck pond - have you thought of attaching some type of pole to the pump that would stick out of the water high enough so you'd always know where it its? Or maybe putting a plastic crate over the pump and attaching the pole (or stick)? Great seeing Jeff back. Love how much you care about all the animals.

It certainly was your lucky day. You were finding the cows that still need to calf. . . . bing, bam, boom. Jeff is looking great as usual. Carrie knows what is required with the various jobs. The sheep sure let you know where they are. Thank you for sharing your day.

I never hear anyone use the term "bubbler" other than us Wisconsinites - but we use Bubbler as something we drink from and I wouldn't want to drink from the one from that pond - LOL. So glad that you are showing us a different view of how things are handled. Love your interaction with all the farm animals, your attitude and how you are moving it all forwards. Thanks for sharing! The chores never end, big and small. So glad to see you doing well. You probably know but the rubber brush will get coated with natural oils from Ethel's coat. As it does, it will not grab the hair as well. A quick wash with warm water and Dawn dish soap will strip the oil off the brush. I use a similar brush on my double coated labradors and with regular washing the brush lasted a good 10 years before having to be replaced. Thanks for the video. Oh, the duck pond chore, I'll leave that for you, LOL

We are finally getting some good weather here in Rock Springs and it looks like it is the same there. I am sure having Jeff back is a huge load lifted off your shoulders. I have noticed you haven't filmed much on the feed lot, how are things with that?
Today is beautiful weather! Feedlot is good. Next group gets shipped next week!

Looks like work goes on, I'm certain you can't wait for calving to be over. That duck pond sludge looks liked good compost! Again as always my prayers for y'all.
We just did a bunch of our to do garden work, I didn't have to clean a duck pool, but my wife did clean an in-ground water tank a little. Those chores aren't very fun or pleasant, but they have to get done. Our calving hasn't started yet, but hopefully it will soon. Good luck with the rest of the chores. My neighbors, probably half mile away, had a pond with ducks. Those darn ducks would leave the pond, waddle all the way over to my house to get in my little garden pond. They made a stinky mess everytime.

@@OurWyomingLife check out a video of it being used. It's similar to the metal brushes you were using. Except it's got teeth that grab the loose hair. It be a brush id get if I had a shedding dog or any shedding animal.
