    The Suzuki GSX-R750 is the last sportbike in that sweet spot between the 600 and the 1000. With a user friendly chassis and great suspension, it's easy to ride fast.

      Vilouboy if I was closer I would love to pay Dave for his services to my bikes. Hell I’ll probably end up using them for set up advice even through text or email.
      RUclips pays too and if full videos were released vs just trailers I bet views would increase at that point.
      All good, I’ll still watch Dave and I appreciate all the free advise I’ve got thus far

    When decreasing unsprung weight, will the rebound/ suspension settings need to be changed? Street bike

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  5 лет назад +2

      You will change preload first and then change rebound in the forks if you have progressive springs but will change the rear shock rebound immediately.

      Thanks. Thinking about switching to lighter wheels/ less unsprung weight

      @@bandanamuzicDave Williams, editor, replying here. Skipping all the fancy engineering terms like moment of inertia, gyroscopic precession, etc etc, 2 things account for 90% of the performance gains (lower lap times) of lighter wheels. First accelerating/braking are easier, thus quicker, because there's less rotational mass to spin up and slow down. But the greatest gain is handling. The bike is ridiculously easier to turn because the wheels are gyroscopes. The lighter the gyroscope the easier it is to tilt.

    At 4:10 there are Yamaha brakes on the gsxr? That is new to me..

      @shivex....cheaper upgrade than buying the Monobloc Brembos that come on the L1 and up.

      Many, many riders put R6 calipers on the GSXR, as that is a popular cheap upgrade for track bikes.

      He's one of the lost one's that believes R6/R1 calipers are better that the tok. calipers that are on GSXR 600/750/1000 and Busa 1300 from 2004 threw 2008 total dumb ass

      @@TheVilouboy Happy to travel there, but will a track day provider allow me to help riders? Often they have their own suspension tuner at these events, so I am often told "No!". Who do you go to COTA with? Ride Smart?
