i run those style. in newer headlights they dont always work good. But for older cars with the kits there really good
Thanks i just ordered some for my suzuki vitara 2004 this review was really helpful :)
Aw awesome thanks 4 watching
Try some Hikari next. Totally worth it. Much better than any of the 4 previous sets i have had.
Heck yes
Useful video and thanks for sharing it. It would have been useful to have a comparison between the old and new lights driving on the road, as this would show how the light is spread out across the road and avoids lighting the area where there is on coming traffic.
The garage door demo showed a lot of blue scatter. The light looks as though it is not setup correctly. It’s not about how bright you can made the area in front of the car, but ensuring the pattern does blind or distract oncoming drivers. The pattern was too high on the garage door and when you stood back and looked at the vehicle the new light was straight into the cameras, which I assume was held at eye height, whereas the existing light looked to be correctly adjusted and did not shine into the cameras. Maybe with adjustment this can be corrected, but if you set the second light the same way you did the first, I think they would cause other drivers a problem.
Well there was lot more 2 it to that but I don't agree to disagree. with your comment.
helped me thank you. i am unsure which bulbs to get. the last were the high beams i wanted headlight. thanks :) purchased on amazon right now
great review by the way
Thank you. Thanks 4 watching and commenting.
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Look how scattered the LED light is on that door, you’ll definitely be blinding oncoming traffic with that junk. Thank you for the video. Made my decision simple. Not a product I would buy after seen this. Nice they they sit almost as flush as stock, but the noisy fan and the scattered beam pattern really won’t do it for me.
Well what you recommend?
That way the people in the comments can see your opinion!!!
Because he put them in reflector housings, you should always put LED bulbs in projector housings
@@alanballou5939 also I have fog lights on 2 plus there way better then halogen anyway I've been doing this for years sorry
@@DrivenbyGears When you get a chance, replace the two headlights with stock bulbs. At night, take the truck back about 20feet from garage doors. Turn off the fogs. Mark with painters tape the width and height and hotspot of the headlight beams. Replace stock bulbs with the LEDs. Compare the spread. If the led height goes over stock height, that’s how people are blinding other drivers. A good LED set will almost exactly match the stock bulb beam pattern. Very hard to find/setup in the inexpensive LED sets, but some can get close. Tip: Take a picture of the stock bulb pattern and compare to LED to make sure they match. You can also try one stock and one led but shut off one at a time.
did you put the 9005 in your hi beam? amazon says that is where yhey go, I got the 9006 for my 2002 silverado today, install tomorrow
way better then the flicker HIDS but will give another review after i run them for awhile. LINK amzn.to/3cMUDRu

@@greatmystery11 yep no problems
@@DrivenbyGears Thanks for the reply!
It's good to hear that they're still working!
Good job
thanks
What about parking lights turn signals ..what leds for those
Hows the lights so far? Still working like day 1?
Yep still the same.
@@DrivenbyGears Thanks for the response!
How has your leds worked out?

Does it fit on civic 2009?
Looks like you’re getting scattered light
You put those bulbs in reflector housings which is really bad for oncoming traffic. LED bulbs should always go into projector housings.
Most projector housing after market already have leds.
And 9 out of 10 vehicles all have reflector housing how else would the light reflect.
All LEDs are bad for traffic. They are bright as shit for oncoming traffic.
Bro how can you seriously just say that? Do you not see how insanely bright OEM headlights are nowadays?
Actually for reflector housing what they recommend is LED just have to aim them correctly, most modern led lights have well defined cut-off lines and as I said before, when you aim them correctly you don't blind on coming traffic...for reflector, the recommendation is HID. There are some HID's made specially for reflector housing.
You put a 9005 bulb where it should be a 9006 for the low beams
Actually there 9005 s and that is the low beams.
any updates on their longevity?
Still working like a champ I love em. Even in the fogs been working good.
Says 500w and 1000lm
Not these specific ones but there probably is some out there.
🤣
