Shahd 23, telling what living with cerebral palsy means to her

This video is about me, my life in Wales, my hopes and my dreams and what I would like to do in the future. I would like to share my journey with you :-)

An awesome effort Shahd. I too have CP ... I'm a sole parent of an amazing 8 year old boy. I'm in a manual chair full time but this doesn't stop me parenting. I wish there were people like you near me. You are awesome and a good example of what people with "disabilities" can do if they put their mind to it.

Hi, thanks for the video, very good video. I see that the services are less available too and this has been this way since I was 18. I am also from the UK. I studied at Swansea university for a year but then transferred to Reading university. I spread CP awareness too. I have spastic CP and hydrocephalus.

I'm German but I hope you can understand my English😉 I think everyone around the world should have respect for you because you live your life with more barriers than a "normal" human. I have respect for you and it's spectular how you live... I think it is very good that you make RUclips videos.

I met you in matalan carms, great video, i wish you all success. The next time i see friends of ours whom their daughter is of a similar age to you and also with cerabal palsy, i will mention to them to watch this video, maybe to meet up and discuss issues as well. I think youve done a great thing with confidence.

Hey! Good, that you can understand my English😃 This first attempt is very good, please make new videos! I have many questions, you can answer this in a video or show us how you live when you want:
1. School life
2. standing/walking
3. experiences (how people react when they see you: maybe there are people who think you are "crazy in head"?)
4. understanding (do all the people understand you?)
5. things which you do each day (eating, drinking, go from wheelchair into bed or whatever😉)
6. making videos (it takes how much time, it takes power? for example)
7. travelling (do you travel very far, is it able to do simply)
8. contact new people (make friends...)
9. life (do you have a own house, do you live at your parents' house...)
10. driving car (I've heard there are people with CP who want)
11. hobbies
12. how much is your disability in your life (it affects you, how and so on...)
