I Like my Snap-on CTLAR761 Light for approximately $100 off the truck with cash discount. I have the water hose nozzle and my wife Loves it for watering her plants. It has multiple controls and it doesn’t leak.
Appreciate the comment, and I'm going to get a light one of these days. I think I'm also going to get the nozzle as not one person has said a bad thing about it. I should have mentioned in the flyer about the switch, its a good selling feature. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for the comment. P.S. I put in a second order of those Eagle Grip pliers by Malco for Chistmas presents. Thanks again for that tip !!
@@scottaddison8071 No I didn't see that one. I checked for "held" messages, as sometimes RUclips holds messages they think are inappropriate, 99% are not, but if they contain certain word, or punctuation the algorithm can flag it.
Go to your local Caterpillar dealer Parts department and most all their CAT rebranded tools are Elite Snap-on tools for 30-40% of Snap-on prices. The CAT website is almost impossible to navigate, so figure out what you want and go ask the Parts guys and they will help you. They can provide you a Link to the CAT catalog for most items. CAT has buying power to supply all their shops & customers shops with these tools, so I guess the quantity buying power is how they offer these tools so cheap. You will be surprised what all they offer including toolboxes, specialty tools, shop fixtures, furniture, equipment, er ……..
I bought a set of the plier racks and have another set on order. They fit the 29 inch master series drawers perfectly they are very well made and made in the US, a variety of spacings for variable widths of pliers. The second set that I ordered I'm going to use for adjustable wrenches Etc. I have a set of the high leverage pliers, don't use them real off and then when I do they are fantastic. They are great for straightening metal edges of covers on equipment and things like that . The are pricey but in my opinion well worth it.
Hey really appreciate the comment and thank you. I have been looking for something for my pliers for a while now, and have not been able to find anything. I have a classic series tool box so I'm wondering about the depth on the shallow drawers. Thanks for the tip on the high leverage pliers, I haven't seen a set like that until I saw the flyer. Have a good weekend.
I find the only time I use half inch in automotive is when I need to get something unstuck so I only have the 24 inch snap on ratchet. Anything else 1/2 is probably going to be using my impact.
Great point! and for the next one I will mention that. The flyers are identical, the only difference is the exchange rate. Its pretty much bang on. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
do you have a opinion on the snap on 14.4v UV light? i love the idea with a/c season coming soon to have a UV light on a platform that i can make use of the batteries but its a super expensive platform to get into. so if you do have a reccomendation for that light do you have a certain kit or way you''d reccomend to get into the platform? thanks for the great flyer review
Hey there, I hear you about the cost barrier to getting into the 14.4V stuff. I don't own any Snap On 14.4V (wish I did) For my AC I have a cheaper UV light that uses batteries when I put dye in the system. Its good for oil leaks as well. This is the type that I use amzn.to/4as6Rdi
@@shaunclancey1107 Its fairly bright, have no issues in the summer. Sometimes you have to look a little closer if there is a lot of outside light, but overall its good. The Snap On one would be better no doubt, but the cost is too much I think.
That half in ratchet you held up is the exact one I've been waiting for a sale for for 2 years. Problem is that the price has gone up so much that a sale price would be more than when i started waiting.
Its a nice ratchet although I'll be honest with you I have only used it a few times. I find I just don't use 1/2" drive. Fasteners have been getting smaller over the years.......... Appreciate the comment, and hope you are having a good week.
@GarageKing I work on tractors, I bought a 200$ gearwrench 24" 1/2 inch ratchet last year because the snapons were getting too pricey. Although I would have preferred the beefier snapon model.
Yes and no haha, it's nice to have them, but you don't need them all. I probably use 3 pairs 90% of the time, but the others do come in handy when you need them the odd time.
EZred does not make snapons light the ezred light is great that’s the one I use but the snapon one has detachable magnetic heads. Doesn’t justify the price IMO but they are different and not not made by ezred
I thought Ez Red made them for Snap On, just a different model. The magnetic detachable ones, I thought that EZ Red made those ones for as well, just under the Snap On name. Thanks
@@GarageKing I was told that they weren’t but maybe I’m wrong. I checked their website and it says that they are Chinese made so you’re probably correct lmao. Wish ezred sold the magnetic one 😂
@@rayvissari9485 I know, if they sold the magnetic one I would have bought that one. The regular one that I got is on sale right now on Amazon for 35$ so way cheaper than Snap On !!!
Depends, for example, I will post May's flyer this month in April so there is some overlap between flyers, but only because I post early. Now the flyer price is only good for the month its active, but many dealers order the items and some don't sell. So if you have an honest dealer and ask him if he ordered last months sockets and hadn't sold them, he will probably, or should sell you them for the sale price. You can't go on line to order them, and some items I find are dealer promotions only which means the website is a higher price (Snap On wants you to go to the dealer) I hope this helps you out.
Got the pliers rack , don't regret it .
Appreciate the comment and thank you
Ive got a few snap on lights. Was careful on which ones i got but man they are great. Long battery life and quality illumination
Thank you for the comment, I do think that anything Snap On puts their name on is quality. Appreciate you sharing your experience.
