Meet Paul, aka The Off Grid Nomad. Paul lives full time in his ex military truck, that has been kitted out to perfection, a beast on the outside and a homely cosy space on the inside.
In this video, Paul shares his story on how he came to live in the truck, as well as his future plans of buying woodland and even a bunker! He tells us how living this way has helped him to escape the cost of living crisis, and shared some great advice to people thinking of pursuing this way of life!

I,ve watched Paul,s channel for a while now, just the sort of bloke who you know will help you if your broken down at the side of the road. Need more like him in this world. He recently took part in a carnival parade in sutton on sea and everybody loved his truck. Great to see him on Liveration.
And not a live edge or tibetan prayer flag to be seen. 😊 Paul is an excellent ambassador for this larger rig lifestyle- and his observations about people wanting larger rigs, it's kinda #VanLife.2
There will be more and more people wanting to transition to this lifestyle.
I first got into vanlife watching Bob Wells, and the inspiring stories of houseless Americans living on a tiny income with dignity. Thanks to the Stirling Stewardship of the UKs government, there's going to be more Brits doing the same, but soggy boggy camping in Britain is a bit different to winter camping in the state parks. I really hope that future governments and councils recognize this new sector of society, and accept them as part of the community. 😊
Iam leaving uk within next 2years planning on buying a house and make a offgrid vanlife overland campsite then use as a base to travel myself iam done with uk I feel our government is pushing us into wars that will come back and bite us everyone buying in Bulgaria now

What an amazing rig and I love the freedom you have created in your life, Paul. I'm working my way back into van-life after living in a house for a couple of years. I'd love a smaller version of your vehicle as I'm a solo nomad. Would be great to have a Jack Russel again too. Another superb video. Really like this guys ethos of helping people to transition to a better way of living. I don’t know much about the school curriculum these days but bushcraft skills should be taught in schools. Anyway society today is not a good fit for most people. Keep spreading the word 😊

Very nice vehicle! There were some magic words that resonated for me in this video -- "escape the system" and "prepper." At 75-years-old, the most important system for me to escape is the Big Medical Establishment. I've put a huge focus on prepping my health so I can avoid this parasitic system. After experimenting with numerous ways of eating, including vegetarianism and veganism, I finally found the answer for me; the Carnivore diet. Twenty-months ago I was T2 diabetic, very arthritic, with high blood pressure and on and on. Now I no longer have any diagnoses and take no medicines. I easily lost all the weight that I needed to. My former doctor is very disappointed that I am not helping him pay for the mortgage on his second home and boat! I'll never go back to eating sugar, carbs, seed oils, and even vegetables with their oxalates, lectins, and numerous other toxins. And yes, fruit is pure sugar. Meat and eggs deliver excellent nutrition that feeds all the cells in the body. I love it.
Same for me too. I am currently looking at the carnivore diet but it seems so limiting and hard to create an exciting meal. Did it really change your life thst much? Are you on social media at all?
Good questions. Yes, it did change my life that much. When I started, I thought I would have to stop driving because I had a lot of brain fog and my reaction time was pathetic. Now, twenty months later, I drive with confidence. My mind is sharp. And my physical health has improved dramatically. The thing is, when you eat this way, and consume enough animal fat, cravings go away. The mindset one has to adopt is that we can't have it both ways -- an epicurean diet and excellent health. It is no longer about the pleasures of the tongue but the quality of the nutrition. Not that eating this way is boring -- I actually look forward to my next meal, even though I eat the same few things every day. Beef mostly, eggs, very occasional pork or chicken, water, and salt. It is satisfying and satiating. I do have a RUclips channel, but so far no videos about this way of eating.@@Waynes_Travels

Hi! I also want to go for a 7.5T conversion but I really dont't know how much the insurance will cost me for this size of truck ... In the UK of course! Could you give me an idea or some ruff estimate regarding the possible cost of truck insurances for private use? I beleive this year I' ve seen U somewhere purked up next to some train bridge .... This truck is a real eye catcher BeASt love it :)
