Deity Earth 18 as Mansa has to be one of the hardest slogs outside of Inca or Japan. Brutal. Love the no barbs suggestion and can't wait for all the episodes! Keep up the amazing content
Love seeing you play with huts! It's such a nice dopamine boost when rolling great! Even the bad results makes the game more interesting even if they're frustrating(looking at you triple barbarian warrior spawn).
the idea is cool its just usually on high levels the AI has unfair advantage with 2 free scouts and 4 archers starting units, they can gobble up huts 3 times faster than you.
If you return to Earth 18 after this game would you consider making a couple map changes, such as moving Spain to the coast and clearing a tile the Andes Mountains and Panama? That way Isabella has a chance to expand and Huayna isn’t trapped
I think it is a good idea to take spain quickly because they only ever have one city. Since they built the oracle they will get a prophet and build a shrine which will give lots of extra cash. Also different religion so other AIs might not mind? This would then free up the spot in north west africa which will probably be to close to spains culture.
My favorite civ to play on this map is definitely Japan. Lots of islands to colonize and dealing with China and Mongolia is a lot of fun. The Great Lighthouse is basically required though.
Huh, 1 commerce on dry desert river and jungle on plains tiles, resources not appearing where they would on a normal civ map... Quite a few small differences there
With no barbs is quite easy, just rush sailing and get the 2x corn/deer/fish spot in Argentina, its a settler/worker pumper. With barbs on however, it becomes really difficult, but still doable.
According to steam charts civ 4 has become more and more popular over the years
This is going to be an epic series! 🤩
very generous ty
OMG the way I got so excited when I saw Earth 18 Civs!
Hindu shrine must have some crazy yields with half of civs being Hindu
Having no gold resource for Mali on an earth map is wild

Japan is easier IMHO, you can do stuff with sailing. Inca and Mansa are just ... crap.
OMG! Finally, thanks so much for this long requested series! :-D I am looking very much forward to this one!

I love these! Would you ever be interested in trying Dawn of Civilization? I'd love to see you play that mod.

No Shaka or Zara helps

Yeah and plains jungle
Also coasts appear on this map more than one title further from land tiles
Would love to see a Inca playthrough on Deity of this i find it really hard since you cant settle all the land in time.
