Installing Laminate Flooring

In this video, I am showing how to install PARADOR Laminate Flooring. It was my first time installing this Laminate and I found it very easy to work with.
The underlay that I used to Install this Laminate Flooring is called Fibre Board underlay.
To finish this job we used white Skirting Boards. The places where the Skirting Boards are missing there is going to be Installed Wardrobes.

I would like to ask. I read that the new flooring should be perpendicular to the existing floorboards, however in here it was done parallel to the existing floorboards. Does that mean it doesn't really matter? I understand that the new laminate tiles are thicker than the previous boards, which might affect this too..

Where is the moisture barrier? The underlay seams were not taped from what I see

You don't really need a moisture barrier over floorboards, while you would need one over concrete. But yeah, the underlay isn't bonded together nor is it laid using the running bond brick pattern :/

You made some of the seams or joints stair stepped, you're not supposed to do that. I can plainly see the stair stepping in your video and it doesn't look good.
