Man Shiloh sad man…we (you and I Dec 71 and March? 72?) were lucky..I guess there was Desert Storm (the rumor of the draft came up..) but man my heart and soul give thanks to all that gave to our country..a couple years ago I was in church with my daughter (memorial day weekend) and the WW II GUYS stood up..I said baby..just remember these guys the few left are why we are here..just remember you got to see a few of them..

I just saw a short of oil filter replacement on a Harley they cut a Gatorade bottle bottom off from it and a slot on the “ side” of bottle to fit the handle of filter wrench and position that at the top and the residual oil comes out the mouth away from engine into container . Seems like it might work for your application as well.
