In this case Steven was 25 so this was very common. My aunt was 16 when she married my uncle (who was 25) in the 70’s. In this case Steven was 25 so this was very common. My aunt was 16 when she married my uncle (who was 25) in the 70’s. They are still together, had children & grandchildren together… I don’t advocate anyone having sex or getting married at 16 but back then things were different.
