      ​@@paulmc3457so everyone, multiple professionals were corrupt in all of this? I'm not trying to be naive but I find it hard to believe so many people were paid to hush their mouths about it. What makes more sense to me is drugs were taken and something happend. Julia even says she doesn't remember anything. Also, those locks on the door had to be locked from the inside. I don't believe the attempted murder story but the abortion is terrible!!

    If you have any morals and are forced into abortion, you never get over it. Like her, I was tricked, lied to and forced to have an abortion, but unlike her, it was by my own mother, my family. I wasn't given the option or the time to even think about it, until it was over and I had to act like it never happened. It was 4 decades before I had the courage to tell someone my story. I never was pregnate again and had a total hystorectomy at 27. I never had a family, never belonged and never felt worthy of love, after that happened. I've been alone all my life. It changed me forever. I now am terminally ill and I've lived alone with my shame, all my life.

    The circumstances regarding that fire sound sketchy. Where is that 'friends' account of his visit and why did she not remember anything about his arrival(just prior to the fire)? The invincibility factor saturated their world but wasn't acknowledged. Too much, too fast, too young, too inexperienced, no age appropriate guidance from either side. The consequences of that lifestyle wounds deeply and it sounds, forever. I hope the music industry realizes their responsibility. Very complicated story. God bless the mess we call life and living.

    Steven Tyler is an extremely selfish, egotistical womanizer. I have never liked Aerosmith anyway. I first became familiar with them in 1987 when I was eight years old and they had a few popular hit songs from their Permanent Vacation album which were aired constantly on MTV. They had "Angel", "Dude Looks Like A Lady", "Rag Doll" and then Steven Tyler and Joe Perry helped Run DMC do that rap cover of "Walk This Way". Even as an eight year old boy, I was never fond of Steven Tyler for his obnoxious, egotistically overbearing behaviour. He is just another one of those drugged out rock stars who only cares about money, sex, drugs and rock and roll. He was completely in the wrong for pushing Julia Holcomb into that abortion. He built her hopes up on becoming his eventual wife, and then he smashed her to pieces and deserted her. As far as I'm concerned, Steven Tyler is a worthless piece of shit.
    God Bless You Julia Holcomb for your genuine heart and kind spirit! You are a wonderful human being who deserves all the happiness you have found with your husband who obviously is a REAL man, and all of your blessed, beautiful children!

      feel exactly the same way. I've never liked Steven Tyler, he always gave me the crepes with those lips of his, like he just had Botox. he took advantage of Julia and then had to have her son killed, 😢😢😢 she was devastated and he washed his hands off the whole situation.

      It wasn't just Julie, his first wife Cyrinda Fox and child ( Mia ) were not treated well by him either. I do think
      the drug addiction impaired his judgement. It seems he made peace with the late Cyrinda and his child Mia.
      It doesn't appear that he has made any effort to make amends with Julie.

      I have never liked aerosmith, even in my hippie 60's/70's music phase. I just said in another comment that stephen tyler sounds terrible and is a notorious non-musician who kind of just rode the wave of other 60's rock stars.

      they had more than a "few popular hits", they had tons since the 70's, 80's and through 90's.. as far as steven goes, listen , he was no different than the so called rock star, past and present.. he was a druggie, shallow, sleeps around, liar, abusive, cheater, a jerk, takes advantage of groupies, greedy, controling, jealous, neglects his kids..

    Wow... as a fan of Steven Tyler, this has really opened my eyes concerning Steven's true character. What a shame... the magic is gone. I never imagined he would be capable of such a cowardly and selfish act. I'm sad to say I've definitely lost some respect for him.

      I think the druggy Tyler was not a great guy. Just like some people are mean drunks. Hard to say.
      I don't think any woman can be forced to have an abortion in the USA. They both are to blame for this.
      But Tyler was the adult in this situation. She was not. They were both out of control with drugs.

    Not meaning to mock anyone's religion, but how did I know early in the first part of this interview that she's Catholic.. I don't need to confess my sins to anybody else, my Lord already knows, and I confess them to him and ask for forgiveness, don't need a middleman, a priest can't absolve me of anything, only Jesus can...

      Amen, Kimberly. A priest cannot forgive you of your sins. Only God can. Going to confession does not get you into Heaven. Only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can. HE is the only key to Heaven.

      so I guess when JESUS told his apostles to confess their sins to one another that didn't mean anything??? and also when he told them that what the forgave on earth would be forgiven in heaven and what they didn't forgive on earth would not be forgiven in heaven!!! JESUS instituted the priesthood in his disciples and for over 1500 years they did that with no issue till the protestant reformation and still for over 2000 years the church still continues to listen to people's sins and give absolution, a mandate directly from our Lord Jesus Christ, but you in your wisdom you know best then the church that Christ established, you know best then JESUS himself??!!! you go on doing what your conscience dictates cause you know best sista!!

      If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Matthew 18.15. The sins to be confessed to each other are personal faults - not grievous sins that could be misconstrued or used for blackmail. No man has the power to forgive sin barr God. The veil within the Holy Place was ripped from top to bottom when Christ died. We can now enter that chamber directly through prayer and access Christ as our personal Mediator. No priest can absolve sin; because he is a sinner in need of a Saviour too.

      She had a bad experience and believes that all abortions are bad. Although having an abortion when she was in her 5th month and there was no medical threat of death to her I do think she was past the point of having an abortion. She was young and didn't know. But I still wouldn't be pro-life. No one has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. She should be blaming the doctor who performed it and Steven Tyler. Obviously, she was not for having it and that doctor had to have known it. I'm glad you don't regret your choice. And you shouldn't regret it. I'm pro-choice. Everyone has their own belief. If your pro-life don't have an abortion. If your pro-choice, thank god you have options.

      I am 100% pro-choice that a woman has every right to decide what happens to her own body, but I am very certain that your own personal procedure did not involve literally ending the life of a living and breathing human being which I believe her story is of what truly occurred during her horrific procedure wouldn't you agree?

    Sounds to me like, Tyler's friend tried to snuff her life. He may even have done a Bill Cosby on her. Way too weird that he comes to take her grocery shopping & instead she is locked in an apartment on fire. She is so kindly hearted she can't even bring herself to consider that fact. Poor lady.
    I commend her for her fight, but I still think that woman she have sole custody and right over their bodies, their wombs and fertility. I don't think her son would have thanked her for living while being ignored and bastardized by his famous father. This is a kid who most likely who have done anything to look like his dad, act like his dad, go to Hollywood only to be rejected and end up in drugs. Stories are plenty full. When it come to abortion right's movement, people are not truly thinking about the child's future. Being raised by parents, that can't support you, parents that abuse you, parents who never wanted you in the 1st place. Kids tend to go through a lot. So if a mother knows she is not up to it, she should be able to abort the child. Better that than curse that child with a life time of suffering and wondering why the fuck was he/she born for?

      Hmmm... interesting theory that I would like to adress.
      It's quite a long response so I'm not expecting anyone to read the whole thing and please excuse my english.
      As someone who was born under very similar circumstances (father, also a skilled and talented artist but thankfully no where near as famous as ST, was vehement about wanting to have me aborted. My mother told him "nope🖕". And so I was born.) some things you pointed out are very true, as my mother also wasn't emotionally/mentally able to take care of me the way she should have due to her own troubled past, and financially we always struggled even though she had a decent job she was very good at, so my upbringing was rough, not to mention being bullied alot in school...etc. being called a bastard, my mom sometimes even being called a whore kids making fun of my clothes...etc.
      and being scolded alot at home until I eventually ran away at 11 and then was forced to go back home by authorities (I wasn't raised in the U.S).
      As a child and as a teen becoming an artist and writer was my passion. I had many hobbies I was passionate about but my destination, as far as I was concerned was to go to University to study art, until I realized that I was only trying to become like him and that my mom was subconciously trying to mold me into another version of him as that was perhaps the only value in my existance that she ever saw in me.
      As I much later realized, my father didn't even see that in me (yes, I knew him). Ironically it was his niece (whom I didn't know existed at that time, who came from a two parent loving household) who molded her entire career after him. And she became incredibly successful taking it even farther than he did. She credits everything she did to being inspired by him. Her brother is even more successful and my father was involved in both of their lives, yet kept it secret from me. Which says alot.
      So anyway, I stopped practicing and cut out anything in my life that had anything to do with that....and for a while, even my mother as she was basically just obsessed with him (there was always my father's artwork hanging somewhere in our home) and she really didn't understand how her actions affected me (still doesn't) and doesn't care either.
      This is a very long-winded response however I thought perhaps it could shed some valuable light on a life that is actually born out of a very similar situation and to portray some of the very real struggles that can occure as far as the inner identity of said child is concerned, and the emotional conflicts/turmoil that can really take it's toll on a very young and impressionable life.
      As far as not supposed to be born because of all of these odds, I have to say, that as much emotional/psychological grief as being born with two very different yet eaqually unequipt parents gives, one still realizes the value of being allowed to be here and exist in physical form/conscious exactly because the odds (outside factors) were stacked so high against you. I'm also sure that there were times when my mom was conflicted too. When you understand this, then you're automatically grateful for the one person, who for whatever reason, believed you were atleast for those moments, worth the battle to be alive and healthy in the here and now. In my case, my mom. And that's where my gratitude gravitates each time, atleast for that.
      Lastly, once you grow up and experience the world for yourself the playing field slowly starts to level itself out and you see that we are all humans and each struggle is different, some people have it 1000% worse than you and that your value to others and for yourself as human being existing in this life, is not soley based on who your parents were or weren't, rather it is what you decide to do with what you were given, as a grace from God.

You truly been through it & rose above it all, your father truly missed out. 4 the ones like you who make it through, how many don't? How many, got stuck & ended their own lives though? This subject is a very difficult one on so many levels, and yet it needs to be debated more. I feel your mother wanting you, even if later was not up 2 it, still makes a huge difference, vs had she not, don't you think? 4 me, mothers who traditionally were the carers & carriers of children still need 2 have the freedom 2 chose, even when the choice is based on frivolities, blissful ignorance or pure self-centeredness.
      Your father walked away from the moment of conception & men been doing this with impunity still the beginning of eons, until recently when forced 2 pay child support RaIsing kids is extraordinary hard & most women couldn't walk away easily from the moment of conception. And adequate contraception is still a relatively new thing in the human history. Can you imagine if all females, all over the world were forced 2 be impregnated till menopause, simply because every fertilized eggs had the automatic right to be live?

      We have no way of knowing if her child would have tried to pursue a relationship with Tyler or whether he would grow up in the church and become a pastor. My vision is 180 from yours. Liv Tyler seems like a decent human being having been raised by Bebe Buell and did not know who her biological father was. I bet Steven tried to coerce Bebe to abort, too.

      Pretty sure the fire was investigated. Nothing has come out that I know of that it was arson.

    Why is her memory so vague. How did she just fall asleep and awake to a fire. Why wasn't there an investigation into the fire. This story is full of holes and inconsistencies. So Now she wants money? There's something strange about this girl. Trying to come off as innocent the she states she met Steven and went home with him. I don't entirely believe her 23:59

      I don't believe her either. She says she doesn't remember anything before the fire. She was a known drug user. She once said to Steven if he left her she would ruin him. Well here we are.

    So I wrote too soon and deleted my first comment. I'm viewing this after hearing that Julia is sueing Steven. It's Feb 2023.
    So now I hear that Julia is Catholic. It's wonderful that, God, blessed you with an awesome marriage and 7 beautiful children. I just can't imagine that Julia would sue Steven knowing that we're to forgive those who've hurt us? Have you truly been "Born Again"? Because you may have idolized the idea of the life that you have now, that, Jesus, gave you your hearts desire, Julia? Perhaps, God, wanted you to remain single to better use your life for, His Will...and not your own? I don't want to come off
    as being harsh here, good for you to sincerely take this too, Jesus, for, His, guidance.❤️
    Julia...please seek, Jesus. Catholicism is wrong in that you believe, God, puts a man in place of, Jesus. Meaning our sin confessions need to be done straight to, God through Jesus. Not through a man then Mary then....well, I believe that hell will awfully be the reward to those who trusted in man and not, Jesus? There are so many wrongs inside of the Catholic church namely your unforgiveness of Steven and his helpers. You loved that evil lifestyle...you just didn't like the result of it. I understand. But now it's time to hold yourself accountable with, Jesus, for your being able to Forgive Steven and put all that behind you.

    I don't know how people read their bibles and still go along with religions? It has to be because they're not reading their bibles and relying on Jesus for the interpretation of scripture, but relying on man(priest or pastor). And all out of fear what the world will think of them if they truly go with, Jesus.

    I believe, the reason, God, has allowed boys to be molested in the church, to prove to the parents that they're not to trust man, only, Jesus...jn hope they will turn to, Jesus, and leave false religion and truly follow, Jesus.
    This is why a man who was sadly molested by a priest, then raises his own children and sends these children to the same priest who molested them? Again, I am not judging...but tearfully remorseful for these men. And pray for their healing. Oh my...the thought of how bad evil is, is very present with this thought and fact. The molestation takes place to gain control over the precious soul of the victim. Evil seeks to control. Jesus, does not!

    Please consider this. I love the people caught up in religion...but it's sad to watch how many follow man, and not, Jesus. Ultimately receiving hell as their reward. We are not "Once Saved Always Saved" please read...
    2 Peter 2:19-22 and Hebrews 4:4-8.
    I believe because of scriptures like these that we can turn away from, Jesus, and receive hell as our reward.
    Read, God's Word, with, Jesus...and, He, will give us the truth.

    I have to believe, they really didn't want to do a c-section procedure for fear of being implicated in a murder and a class action lawsuit. 😒 DISGUSTING, THE ENTIRE THING

      It sounds like it was a murder because the infant was born alive and killed thereafter by the doctor.
      That sort of thing happens often enough when there are saline injections used to abort late term pregnancies. If it hasn't been done already it should be outlawed.

      While she had love for the idea of being either a mother OR the mother to Steven's kid, she had 1) no education, 2) no support group (e.g., best friend, guidance counselor, rabbi/pries/minister, Planned Parenthood counselor), 3) no money, 4) no family to turn to. The odds were STACKED against Julia.
      While hospitalized since she apparently signed papers agreeing to the procedure OR, Steven being guardian signed for her, when she see Steven's "lawyer'd up" and has the attorney right there at her hospital bedside, that's an overwhelming obstacle for a 17-year old to counter.
      She talks in this video of the feeling of guilt and shame, so pressing charges and making this public 35 years back would only add to her grief. Now, as for these untruths Steven's saying in his biography about Julia, then she and her husband should definitely "lawyer up" and sue for libel.
      . . . I wonder how Steven's parents have responded to this saga being made public.

    A mistake is a lesson learned. I almost did this they told me before I would go into labor then abort I jumped off the table and left we were uneducated then.. Steven has song Jamie he has a house and collects money every year to help girls. This haunts him screw you hateful people.God has for

    As only two others have broached the subject, I'll be the third to inquire "What did Steven's bandmate 1) do to Julia to cause the blackout? 2) do to the apt. to cause the fire?" If the "friend" didn't drug and sexually force himself on Julia, then just what did he do? The fact she's five months pregnant makes the action(s) even more creepy and revolting. There are SO MANY other girls dying to have sex with musicians, he didn't need to do this to his friend's lady, his friend's pregnant lady.
    Wouldn't the police inspect a drugging of a minor? Wouldn't the fire department inspect the cause of the blaze? Wouldn't Child Welfare Services hold Steven accountable for leaving his ward alone, unattended, unprotected, unfunded for two weeks? Wouldn't Steven "ream his bandmate a new one" re the actions performed against his lady and to his home in his absence? Of course he would, unless the guy had a rock solid alibi.
    As "lady stalker" spells it out, the life of this child, had it been born, would have so many strikes against it. Steven would have thrown her and the baby out; the two would have nowhere to go; Julia was uneducated, so she's not going to acquire a job with enough income to support the two. As Julia broaches the scenario, Steven's parents and grandmother may have been the safety net Julia and little Michael needed to survive. Without them, or a similar provider, the uneducated, penniless, unloved single mother really has no chance providing for a comforting, safe existence for the innocent infant. As much as it hurts Julia, why force a bleak future on this fetus when under different circumstances she can have seven beautiful children with a man who truly loves her and is capable of providing love, money, guidance for a family?
    Yes, she could have carried the fetus to term and placed the infant for adoption, but the sadness of her circumstances with the betrayal of Steven would haunt her about their child's well being with adoptive parents for the rest of her life. And, how can she be certain of her baby's well being once it's out of her and the adoption agency's hands?
    . . . . Philosophically / "the big picture": Julia and her husband have seven children that are/were planned, welcomed, loved, protected and provided for by BOTH mature, loving parents. That's what young adults should strive for when considering the immense responsibilities of having children.
    . . . . Somewhere on the internet there are interviews with Liv Tyler and Bebe Buell wherein they're asked about Julia Holcomb's charges. I've yet to see them, but it will surely make for titillating reading.
    . . . . In closing, we need answers to the pertinent questions brought up in the first two paragraphs.

      There are a lot more sinister actions here than just the lying to Julia about the reality of the relationship and the interest in having a family. Tyler's former band mate and Steven Tyler need to be held accountable. There is no way to predict what life that baby would have. Julia most likely would have been welcomed back in her mother's house. I don't buy your fortune telling.

    I think abortion is a lot like divorce; people think it's going to solve their problems, but it doesn't. I don't think abortion should be illegal but people should really understand what is involved in the process and realize it is a decision they will have to live with the rest of their lives.

    I’m just gonna say. If Steven was heavily on drugs back then I don’t believe she never tried them. Also she doesn’t remember what happened right before the fire, she didn’t ask questions or thought to ask questions when she was getting the abortion? Weird. If someone was taking me in to get an abortion I would ask a lot of questions. She does remember that after the fire she was so bad she had to stay at the hospital and remembers clearly everything the doctor said? Weird again.
    She is trying to make it seem like she’s a saint and nothing was her fault that she was too young and nieve so she let everyone else make decisions for her, but she cared about the baby and didn’t want it to happen. Sounds stupid to me. Just say you wanted Steven and the money more then you wanted the baby or don’t say anything at all. Be honest or stop lying.

      Think about how long ago this was. There wasn't any info on saline abortions much less had people heard of them. She did try to ask questions .
