NXT 2.0 just destroyed Imperium and Walter. Pete Dunne was badass now they got him dressing like a paperboy.
If you listen to Finn Balor and Randy Orton tell it black and gold was not actually preparing people for the main roster, they were not teaching people the WWE style. Orton said he did not like wrestling the NXT guys because they were always trying to take his head off and you cant wrestle 200+ days a year if you are killing each other.

Nah, they are not enough high spot wrestling to fit in with AEW. Also I think Gunther is too big right? He needs to be under six foot, under 200 pounds, and doing a bunch of flips to be be AEW material. His methodical style lends itself to the WWE in ring style much more.

@@nimmmaina7479 lol, it was hyperbole for effect. They have half a roster of dudes smaller than me and I am supposed to watch them makes dudes bigger than me job for them, no thanks. There is a reason AEW has to resort to high spot heavy blood and gore matches. Little dudes tussling is boring otherwise.

They really need to get rid of the "Gunther" name. No one likes using it, including his own stable.
I am sure that since he used Walter outside WWE Vince could not claim ownership of it, the rebranding is so that if Gunther ever leaves he cant take his name and the legacy he builds with it in the WWE. The switch to 2.0 is about going back to the old way of WWE doing things, own all the gimmicks and be the land of giants.
