Randy Orton vs Chris Benoit was the match of the night both great workers and the ending was awesome the RKO out nowhere and Orton win was shocking but this all build to randy getting kicked out of évolution the next night then losing his title the next ppv cause hhh used his political power and telling everyone randy wasn't ready

During this time, Matt had a major knee injury which is why his match with Kane was so dull and short. But it’s clear, Matt was always the second best Hardy in WWE management’s eyes. Even when Jeff had left on sour terms the prior year and Matt was committed to his craft and character around this time.

I enjoyed that Diva Dodgeball it was entertaining but the match of the night for me was the rematch from WrestleMania XX between Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero.
I'm ripping this because about a few weeks on Raw my father took me and my younger brother to Kane and Lita's wedding which was my 1st WWE show and I was probably the only 1 cheering for Kane 2 sad facts The Rock had just went to the back so I didn't get to see him and I popped for HBK (My favorite wrestler) only to realize he wasn't in the building (never got to see him wrestle).
The Eugene story was decent for what it was but had potential to be greater if they toned down his character. Would’ve had more legs if he was more subtle.
Definitely a forgettable show except for Kurt Angle vs Eddie Guerrero and Orton making history! And I agree with your takes on how messed up the whole Kane, Lita, Matt storyline was!

Summerslam 2004 was a great PPV that diva dodgeball segment was hilarious just for the fact that the raw divas lost a game of dodgeball to the diva search constants lol the 2004 raw diva search is easily my favorite incarnation of it also the iconic diss the diva segment on raw 2-weeks later was a beautiful and hilarious trainwreck i also had no clue until a few years ago that i have summerslam 2004 on DVD 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
