Cool as heck! I think it would be better to saw the blade to shape and use the dremel for the final details as opposed to dremeling it down to shape, though. What kind of adhesive was used?
I never regret buying a driller, or any other tool. If you want to create stuff for cheap definitely buy some. It pays off in a long term. He uses hand grider/driller, I do not have that either, but cheapest ones in my country cost around 25-28€ and something like Aliexpress has cheapest ones for 15 €.
Note to wear a mask guys when making this, the pvc dust is horrid
