I'm jealous of the laser cutter. That being said, I think the ornamentation on the guard is nice, but also having the laser cut pieces on the handle is a tad much for me.
Incredible! Always fascinating to see what ingenuity and details you bring, and while all your builds are amazing, love that you kept this one as raw wood finish. Stunning details bro.
This was an absolute pleasure to watch. You, Sir, are a genuine artisan. Your craftsmanship and attention to details are outstanding! Thank you for sharing this journey.
Very nice! Wooden katanas are my favorite thing to make. If you plan to make a saya for it, inlay it with felt to protect your finish. I paint all of mine so it's a must for sure
Thank you Bro! I will see about saya, If people like the build a lot and want it I will make saya and holder 🤘 awesome tip! I have some nice red felt for it 🍻
Man, this is sick!! I didn't expect nothing less but epicness and you didn't let me down! And with this sword you can switch being an urologist and offer circumcisions if yt didn't pay enough... Greets from Germany!!! 🤘😁
I love your content and am happy to finally be able to watch it again! At 2:34 if you were to use hide glue instead it would make separation a lot easier on a longer timeframe. Often in fine wood instruments like violins they will use hide glue to attach the components in the eventuality that they need to be separated to be repaired long into the future.
I know about that, good point 🍻, but pva joint can also be separated but I am pretty sure this wont have issues since it is not moved or touched and it is just a art piece. If I need to fix it I think I will manage 🖤 Thank you for kind words JaredaSohn 🤘🍻🤘
Tu vídeo es antiguo, espero siguieras trabajando. Lo encontré ya que mi hija es fanática de una serie y le haré una katana utilizando tu método. Gracias!
This puts my raimei to shame And I spent 2 n a half hours designing and carving in that thundercloud hamone the lightning bolts were the hardest bit lol
Absolutely brilliant, I've found somebody else who makes Wooden blades. Really impressed with your work and good to see that I use some of the methods you used.(I'm new to wood working)
Have you ever considered making a bed in a box? I love watching you make cabinets, and can only imagine how awesome a bed in a box would be with the epic touch.
Hi Moris and greetings from an Australian maker. I just discovered your channel and I am inspired, you make amazing projects and the videos are fantastic. This Katana is awesome and I have added it to my build list for 2023. I have subscribed and will check out more of your woodworking projects today. Regards One Handed Maker
I was just about to write the words: “stunning work! You’re an absolute legend!” But then…. *sausage tatami mat* Ive since changed my response to: “This was a masterpiece. You bring great honor to your famiry”
Bro, you did not just cut a log of bologna with that magnificent work of art~ Absolutely gorgeous, the copper wire inlay is my personal favorite artistic touch.
Wish you had made this video about a year ago before i made my chokuto. Could have added so many more elements to it. Hopefully you make a crusader/templar sword before i get serious with the one im procrastinating on lol Love your art. Keep it up!
Duuude!!! So cool! It turned out great man! Amazing job, as always. And, yes. Hishigami would have helped, but it SUCKS to put them in. Hehe. Speaking from experience XD
Thank you Bro! Yeah I know.. I was kinda in rush, so I had to do it without hishigami 😕 I can tell from experience that I hope I wont have to use them 😂
Love this wooden Katana. Would have like to see the Habaki, Fuchi and Kashira made to be taken apart, but the asthetic is very nice. I've been working on my own pattern for a bit. It's a nice challenge.

I'm jealous of the laser cutter. That being said, I think the ornamentation on the guard is nice, but also having the laser cut pieces on the handle is a tad much for me.
Thanks, I like it as it is 😅 I went on google and found many katanas which I like and most had some sort of decoration on handle aswell
Dinner and a show, how nice. I’ve watched about 5 wood Katana videos working up my own idea, thanks for sharing your skill
Thanks for watching! 🤘
Incredible! Always fascinating to see what ingenuity and details you bring, and while all your builds are amazing, love that you kept this one as raw wood finish. Stunning details bro.

Love this wooden Katana. Would have like to see the Habaki, Fuchi and Kashira made to be taken apart, but the asthetic is very nice. I've been working on my own pattern for a bit. It's a nice challenge.
I could have made those parts to be able to come apart but then it would weaken the strength of the katana, i had to sacrafice some parts.
Cant wait to make this as soon as I get a 15.000$ workshop!
Beautiful!
Thanks bro 🤘
