As much as he may not have been the right fit, 2nd and 3rd for Man United is not bad for a guy who managed Molde. Pochettino can't even get a billion pound squad to those heights and people would say he's better.
Ole is only showcasing the life of a modern manger in a big club, ronaldos interview when we look back on it is gospel, now that mouriniho and ole have both come out and talk about the environment of man united. People want insight and here you've got it and are complaining what you're hearing.
"The players are extension of the manager". These players were a compliation and reflections of numerous mangers. The ones he brought in were for the next step.
I feel if you have mental problems and you sign a contract to be part of the most pressurising job their is, I have to question if you really are OK. City have the pressure, liverpool have the pressure. If youre struggling with mentality you shouldnt be there. You should remove yourself from the environments that drain you mentally and go seek the help needed.
If you cant hack being at united, dont play for them, get out.
Ole has every right to talk about this.

As a utd fan I gained huge respect for Ole for bringing some genuine hope back into the team after the depression that came before. I understood he needed to leave but as we can all see now it wasn't Ole's fault, it is and always will be the glazers fault.

If you (Talksport) are going to comment on a particular subject I really think you should invest the time watching or listening to the entire subject matter. The podcast was 90 minutes long and a decent chunk of that was spent discussing Ole's time managing United where he openly said he'd do many things differently.
The number of times I hear a host saying "I watched the highlights" or "I saw a clip/video". If you haven't got the time to watch the whole thing on which to base an informed opinion then it shouldn't be included in the show as a talking point.

Simon's wrong about the culture of the club being cultivated under Ole. It was during Mourinho's reign that it took hold, and the reason for that was Mourinho's lack of dedication to the job which the players took full advantage of towards the end. Ole came in and got them playing counter-attacking (but effective) football in his first season, but he was far too much of a "nice guy" to change anything and he suffered the same fate as every other manager inevitably had.
Simon won't say that though, because he likes Mourinho.

Jordan's the perfect contrarian - ironic because he's called others like James O'Brien contrarians in the past. He wouldn't be caught dead defending this kind of player conduct if the person complaining about wasn't Ole, someone we know Simon doesn't like. He's made plenty of similar observations about United players in the past himself. I'm a Liverpool fan, and even I've found his shtick tiring on this video.

Not great PR Talksport.....surely you can do better than a 'Sun-type clickbait tag-line'. Shame on whoever preps these pages. Ole pointed indirectly that it's never been the managers fully at fault for everything going wrong at United, he pointed issues with the players all the way to the top of the club, and the media has played to our desperation to get back to winning way by consistently sighting managers should be axed at United especially managers they fear would build United back. Objectivly, look at his Arteta was given time, and he had an awful record, but the media scrutiny wasn't high as ETH level scrutiny because they believe Arsenal would never come back but they are afraid that with enough time with ETH United could back an even stronger monster. You can't tell me ETH with the highest win percentage out off all of our previous managers is the worst manager we've ever had, if you believe that then you are being blinded by the media. I understand our performances haven't been up to scratch and that injures aren't an excuse, but they were an excuse for Newcastle a few months ago and Liverpool last season when they were performing poorly. Our team dynames this season has been thrown off by the number of injures and length of those injures, and ETH is doing the best he can with the mid talent we got. Half our team is running on empty due to playing to many games, but that's due to injuries, no cover for players. Thr media has tried the best to muffle discredit anyone that's pointing out the real issues which how the clubs has been run and with that has cause for players to believe they run the club and have thrown managers under bus multiple times and aren't being held accountable for that because the media enjoys it that way because United won't be able to claw its way out the dirt because they put pressure on the manager to get sacked and they use our impatience as fans to make us turn against managers when we should stick by our managers and not listen to the media they don't wants to be great again and will do whatever it takes to do and if it means splitting the United fans base and half then so be it because they don't support us

@BridgeStamford thanks man but if more fans really objectively looked at this bro, the media ain't helping us. We damn near won a trophy for the 1st time since Jose and instead of them reporting as something for us to build on they shat on that trophy bro and kept pushing for ETH to get sacked. We've had 5 managers and none of them faced this level of hate and media attention. They never truly objectively tell us what we need to fix, or even subject replacements and which players we should go for, they just point problems but won't give solutions because they don't really wanna help they'd rather see us cycle put managers on regular basis then find stability with 1
