Is there a feature to snap to the endpoint of lines and come off perpendicular a given offset? I would like to use this program to layout laminate flooring for a home project.

Upgrade the app to Trace 5.42 and you'll be able to get smooth curves!
As a beginner I can find no tutorial about how to save a drawing and even how to safely quit the app…does it automatically save and do you just have to swipe up to quit? Please advise.

add a new smaller layer and you'll get full resolution!

Yes it automatically saves your work only within the app .If you are using an iPad, to save a drawing, you can simply click on the the icon that looks like an up arrow inside a square on the top right hand corner of the screen . After you click that, you will see an export button. Click the desired file type and resolution you would like to save in
