I know how to change brakes I just like to see it done first before hopping in on a vehicle I've never changed them on before for any surprises. This is the video most people should model their instructional videos on. Very well done. Every step done at a pace you can actually learn. Nothing is left out and you explain everything even giving little tips along the way.
    Thank you!

    Very nice instructional video. Thanks!
One question though, why do you take the axle nut off and oil if it wasn't take off previously?
Iis this an optional step? I don't think I have a socket that large or torque wrench to 200 ft lbs

I missed something, why is poking the axle nut and an alignment apart of a brake job?

Nice video. What type of grease do you use for the brake pad brackets and the rubber boot pins?

85 ft/lbs seems excessive for caliper bolts anyway to confirm the torque rating? I am getting ready to replace rotors and pads on my 2012 CX9 soon.

Was this an all wheel drive version or front wheel drive?

Don't put grease under your Hardware use anti-seize the grease will get hot and liquefy throwing it all over your rotor oil soaking and tempering it and causing your brakes to fail early also make sure to dry fit your brake pads to ensure that they move freely in the bracket if they do not use a resurfacing tool to fit them. I see people using grease on brake jobs all the time and they tend to use way too much. anti-seize under your bracket and a thin layer of Greece on top of your bracket just to help your pad slide if you put too much grease you will destroy your brake pads and rotor
