  • Captagon isn't just a pill. It’s Hezbollah’s lifeline, financing jihad across borders.
Today’s Hezbollah’s Hostages tells the story of one young man’s seduction into the dark world of terror and drugs, and the lives shattered by it.
Over the past year, the Center for Peace Communications, a New York nonprofit, interviewed Shi’ite opponents of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Sunni victims of Hezbollah in Syria, each of whom in their own way has fought back against the group’s depredations. At great personal risk, they let us record and film them bearing witness to the reality Hezbollah hides. To obscure the identity of these brave people, we have illustrated their stories with striking animation. The voices you hear, however, are theirs.
The result is Hezbollah’s Hostages, a Center for Peace Communications production which The Free Press is presenting exclusively to English-language audiences on successive Mondays beginning today.
The first episode of our series is “The Combatant.” It tells the story of a Lebanese Shi’ite boy transfixed by American action movies who is lured into combat by Hezbollah during its entry into the Syrian civil war.

To this young man, thank you for speaking out. And thank you, Free Press, for this interview. A young man who was made vulnerable thanks to the ruin Hezbollah brought to his country was then taken advantage of and abused by them again when he just wanted to care for his family and keep his siblings from going hungry. Hopeful that this--and many stories like it--will play a role in eliminating Hezbollah.

I love this series. I only wish more people could see it. The romanticization of this criminal gang by those who are safe from its reach is horrific.

Great anim. I wish you’d make one from the brainwashed idf perspective. Recording themselves in ppls homes stealing valuables and underpants. We need an honest idf account.

it's not brainwashing, it's basic lack of respect from kids in the IDF, 18, 19, 20 year old kids, put through a very pressurized environment. Those kids should be in school or playing video games or going out dancing or hanging out with their friends. You also didn't note how in most cases they get in trouble for doing that stupidity.
But maybe I'm ignorant and you can tell me about the brainwashing of IDF soldiers. I'm always ready to learn.

Tell me you know nothing about the idf without telling me you know nothing about the idf
