Believe it or not, Actress Phyllis Coates only passed away recently, on October 11, 2023. She was 96. She was also the first live actress to play Lois Lane.
-Phyllis Coates was the actress who played Lois Lane on the Adventures of Superman TV show but only for the 1st Season. Noelle Neill played Lois on the Big Screen on a Serial with Kirk Alyn (as Superman) and then took over the Lois Lane role from Phyllis starting with the Second Season of the Adventures of Superman with George Reeves and remained as Lois Lane for the rest of the series.
Denver Pyle , who played Colby , played Jesse Duke on the Dukes of Hazzard . He also played Briscoe on the Andy Griffith show and appeared on many television series throughout his career.

One of the best tv westerns of all times among others during the golden age of television wasn’t around in the 50s but looking back at these shows have them in my dvd collection better than this garbage that’s out today and I’m only 57 years old

I think Phyllis Coates was the better Lois Lane, She was strong, where as Noel Neill was more of a weaker personality, just my personal opinion.

Watching the lone ranger takes me back to my school day, this was my favourite western.
