Both Lois Lanes from the 50s Superman series had very distinctive voices, or perhaps i grew up as a Superman fan in the 50s. Also Jack Diamond who played Phil Johnson is another RL actor still with us.
Lois Lane should have had her own version of The Lone Ranger's sleek, stretchy pants cowboy outfit but in a dark color to contrast with her white mask.
Phyllis Coates was not the original Lois Lane (though she was my favorite.) Noel Neill first played Lois Lane in the Superman movie serials (1948-1950.) When Superman came to TV, Ms. Coates was chosen to play Lois Lane. She appeared for the first season only and was replaced by Noel Neill when other commitments kept Ms. Coates from continuing. I loved her interpretation of Lois Lane...very feisty and man, could she scream! The series was darker during the first season. After that, it was light and kinda cartoonish. But I loved it and still do.
Phyllis dressed in a cowboy outfit , gets the drop on the Lone Ranger but fails to add his duds to her cowboy outfit collection. Lone Ranger's pants are like stretch stirrup ski pants; Phyllis wearing these pants would have tight pants before George Reeves as : superman " !
