As a USA citizen all I can say is if they start serving these at Mexican restaurants they most certainly will go bankrupt. I love their spicy cuisine and all of these look very bland to me. Didn’t see a pepper of any sort or any type of seasoning except onions salt and black pepper.

If you want to claim these as healthy options to traditional Mexican food, that I could agree but there is nothing like traditional Mexican food. I live in Los Angeles and all Mexican regional cuisine is available. Authentic Mexican cuisine stands among the great cuisines of the world.

The worst I have found was Michigan. They served me something called a wet burrito where they have taken a burrito and dump stewed tomatoes on top of it. Couldn't believe it, was nasty

Never, never, never steam the second side of anything fried. It becomes soggy instead of staying crisp. I understand putting a lid over the frying item, while the first side fries, in order to melt and cook the insides. Just leave the lid off once you flip the item over to fry the second side.

I've cooked from so many cultures in my life, and the closest I can compare it to is Indian. My favorite morning brew is an English medley tea which has Indian roots, with café de olla which has Mexican cinnamon, and hot pepper flakes or cayenne.
