hey @The '80s Guy, you used to have a live streaming of HORRORSYTNH RADIO - Demonic beats to exorcise to, it was sooo cool, I used to listen to it EVERY DAY, I think for more than a year, it was always playing in my stereo... will you stream it again? DARKSYNTH RADIO is cool too, but each one had a different taste... it would be so cool if you stream HORRORSYNTH independently again

It's well worth your time. Literally one of the best 80's cyberpunk anime ever made. Just bear in mind it was never finished, at least the original series. There's a 3 episode OVA called Bubblegum Crash that sort of rushes the original concept for the ending, but it's not as good. Still perfectly watchable though, it's not terrible by any means and way better than a lot of modern anime.

man, i feel like there is more blood in new anime, but older anime seemed much more violent and deceptive of absolute death and destruction BGC is a great example of that

True, lots of blood in modern anime but relatively little actual death not counting nameless mooks. Meanwhile BGC has people dropping dead all over the place, at least the first two arcs anyway.

@@OmicronX-1999 i fel like most anime before 1994 was really graphic in like the chunks of flesh that flew. it was grotesque at the time. then it just got simple until like 20053ish when ninja scroll came out the series not the movie. and Requiem from the Darkness.

If there's sections of the anime without much music you should let the audio come through, because the 80s Japanese sound fx are the best.
