Seems like this is a perfect little PC for a small form factor TRUENAS server for personal, non-professional use. Had I known about this when I was shopping for a mini NAS I'd probably have bought this one. The extra NVME slot means you could have a cache drive, and all you'd need is a couple of hard drives. I would probably use a couple of 16TB drives for redundancy which seems fine for my usage.
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
So you say the usb c port supports fast charging and display out. Does that mean you can use a USB C dock/monitor for a single cable solution or does power for the pc rely on the power adapter?
Yes, but how long is it going to last with two HDD keeping the heat inside and cooking the motherboard slowly? I guess it won't last more than a couple of years 😮
ROM stands for READ ONLY MEMORY. Referring to the SSD as ROM is a gross error. SSD is SSD. ROM is ROM. SSD is not ROM. ROM is NOT SSD.
Tried install xpenology, but can't boot, Tried everything, but no luck! What's the solution? Anybody tried?
