Urd Hunt gives me more and more expectation that Sunrise someday will make a series about Calamity War

@@G2BattleConvoy 72 gundam frames were made and all of them were named from demons from the ars goetia. They cant be mass produced due to the difficulties in stabilising the 2 ahad reactors. Also, for the teams, i say the pilots of the gundam frames are either lone wolves or the head of a squad

Kinda hoping this comes out within the next few years id love more gundam based in the ibo timeline

@@saber_X-105 even if they disguise it(and i dont think they even talk much about hajiroboshi before the urdr hunt event), gjallarhorn database will pick up the ahad waves emitted by the reactors and declare hajiroboshi as marchosias(unless the original pilot officially changed marchosias' name to hajiroboshi in the calamity war era, which as a result, will not show hajiroboshi as marchosias in the gjallarhorn database)
I wonder what went behind the scenes because I think we can be like 75% sure MC and Hajiroboshi were created for some kind of IBO sequel and Bandai decided not to pursue the idea and salvaged IP to unrelated mobile game
pretty sure its just they had another more profitable gundam line to make (build),in terms of lore,pretty sure pd timeline is second to uc,will be great if they actually make atleast a manga or ova abt the calamity war but seeing how well received gwitch is i doubt it
Because Season 2 sucked balls, so they changed their minds and made this into a mobile game instead
well, it is mostly because ibo design is pretty diferent from base gundam, and the things who happen in ibo are diferent than the normal and traditional gundam approach, they said that at least gundam ibo took at least 4 years to really come out because it were delayed several times.
Also they did not think the series will go well, so they put a writer who killed a lot of people, but then the 1st season sell pretty well and they just notice how they fucked an oportunity to do more merch, so they give it a shot and try to get more money releasing the 2nd season, but they had killed a lot of people of the series so they end with the ending of the 2nd season for it, but the series were pretty good in japan, so they just have mixed ideas about develop more that timeline and design, because it is not a normal or traditional gundam design, both robots and storyline.
so they made this game, because if you have an idea and money, but want more money than fans, and your marketplace is japan, then releasing a game is a better aproach than making an anime for it, that is why a lot of games who are released in japan are mostly pay to win, or in a gacha style, it is easier to get money in that way and get the attention of the audience, that is why a lot of korean developers take that approach with the japanese market than develop an anime or something bigger.

It's not really anything that unusual. The Kimaris and Gusion were the same.
well, the alaya vijnana is just the traditional way to pilot a gundam frame of the calamity war, because it has double the power a normal suit and have the system to fight a mobile armor, so you need a faster conection than using both hands and both feet XD
However, hajiroboshi has some kind of semi-conscious mind as he fought the way Wistario wants(proof of this is the enzo battle, when the enzo's triple pile bunkers were parried by hajiroboshi's feet. This is seemingly impossible unless you have an alaya vijnana system, which enables you to have a neurological link to your mobile suit's body and spacial awareness. Plus, hajiroboshi dodged all incoming shotgun projectiles. If you took a bit of damage due to the pellets, then it's understandable but hajiroboshi dodged those lil' shit with ease while also not receiving any damage. Wistario is no human debris and even said that pilotting hajiroboshi feels a little weird)

I really wished we had gotten another installment to the IBO series; at least in terms of anime. Also while a prequel featuring the calamity war would be an interesting take I can't help but wonder. Unless I'm mistaken, 300 years prior to the main story, humanity found themselves fighting off against rogue mobile armors (autonomous machines). A bit of a deviation from the whole "civil war" concept; a notion that's been featured throughout most of the entire franchise. As for a sequel, as unlikely as it would seem, it's not impossible. Just gotta think of the right kind of sequel. Maybe fast forward a couple of decades, introduce a brand new protagonist along with a compelling backstory. Toss in a bunch of others new characters as well as retaining a few of the old ones. Give them a new cause, a new enemy; a new reason to fight. And perhaps most importantly.....a brand new gundam. Do all that, and they should be good to go. I only say all this because I absolutely loved Iron Blooded Orphans and was a little bit sad to see it end the way it did. So I do hope that one day they come back to this series and expanded upon it. On a final note, if a decision had to be made between a prequel OR sequel, I'd much prefer the latter.

Probably dug out from somewhere buried. Actually there are other gundam frames operating around. They showed up in manga sidestories, not in anime.

In a power plant in a space colony orbiting venus, where is where these characters live. you are correct-only 72 gundam class frame were made in IBO, 28 are are believed to have survived the calamity war's conclusion. "hajiroboshi" here is in fact the Gundam Marchosais, a multi-limbed sword wielding monster scarier than Gusion. It is not recorded as surviving the war-specifically, all records of it are erased post-war. Someone concealed it in the power planet of the venus colony and replaced it's armor and identifiers, taking great pains to hide it. Also, Wisterio or however you spell his name, there, isn't Using AV, meaning they are not using the gundam at full power and likely just think it's a fancy mobile suit. Oh, if they only knew.....
@@Shotesu I'm sure that's going to come up soon. The plot to the game reminds of Unicorn a bit. So does the Hajiroboshi, the way it looks and controls by the pilot thinking is similar to the RX-03 Phenex.

I don’t know much about Urd Hunt but it obvious the main character in this series doesn’t have the Alaya-Vijinana-system to pilot this gundam, what was that glowing wrist band that he had in the preview of this game?
Nope he doesn't have the AV system. That ring he uses is just for the urdr hunt. It was like a treasure locator for the relics of the calamity war. Because the whole premise of the urdr hunt is to hunt treasure/relics of the calamity war era.

The only things that infuriates me is why is this just a game, only available in japan, i still dont understand its plot, and WHY DISRESPECT MARCHOSIAS BY RENAMING HIM HAJIROBOSHI.

yes, because instead to use something to launch in a way the robot, you can use the thing that space has low gravity atraction and is similar to how things move in water, so you just have to throw your mobile suits in the space and then they start moving, instead launching them like a rocket thing.

He's a descendant. The CEO, the owner of the colony he's in. If he can win against someone with the AJ system. Then they are a certified badass such as non-newtypes or non-coordinators like Garrod Ran from Gundam X or Lowe from Gundam Astray beats the crap out of Newtypes/Coordinators, proving that special powers are dogshit if you don't know how to use them fully against an ordinary human who knows how to use 200% of what they have. Yeah damn shame you military lab rat lose to a holdupper (Garrod holdups and steals mobile suits for a living) and a junker (literally a trash collector, but mobile suit sized)
At least Wistario, the MC has something Gjallahorn doesn't have at the start: giving a shit to their people. He cares about them even if his colony is literally a prison colony. Bandits? Bandits say hello to giant mace to the cockpit, yours truly, Gundam Hajiroboshi.
Wistario is a foil to Mikazuki, both are Iron Blooded Orphans but with different backgrounds and different aspirations. Mikazuki is an orphan of war, Wistario is an orphan in peace. Mikazuki has many siblings, Wistario has many parents. Mikazuki lived and died as a weapon, Wistario on the other hand lived as a leader. Barbatos is the demon of the land, but Marchosias is the king of the skies. Mikazuki failed to see the bigger picture. Wistario did. Although Wistario was inspired by Mikazuki (their stories occured at the same time, Urdr Hunt is not a sequel, it happend along side IBO), he saw that the path of self destruction is not the way to go. Instead of bonking Gjallahorn in the head (partially worked for Tekkadan but with heavy losses) to reform it, he'll just make his colony the envy of Gjallahorn, a missed opportunity.
Hajiroboshi doesnt use Alaya-Vijnana apparently. However, the Gundam frame itself seems to have some sort of on board AI or mechanism that makes it just as effective.

俺ガンダムシリーズは基本好きだけど、このゲームは不思議と全く興味無いからぶっちゃけ誰が演っても構わないんだけど、キャラの見た目が明らかに“可愛い感じの声を出す女性声優が演じる男役系キャラ”だけに、正直「他にもっと適任の女性声優が居たんじゃね？」とは思ってしまう…。
サンライズは、責めて主人公役選考過程を“オーディションで決めたのか、それとも知名度だけの忖度で決めたのか、或いは生駒の知名度的に限りなく可能性は低いけど枕で決めたのか”を、ファンに向けてちゃんと説明しないとファンは納得しないのでは？
仮にもファンから金を徴収するスマホゲーなんだし…。

I'm still okay with G-Witch for now. It looks like its about to pick up soon. It better. Its getting way past the point where it can still be called a slow burn.
IBO won't be dead, just like the other dormant timelines (aside from UC). Sunrise can just pick it up one day and create a new project for it, just like what is happening right now with Gundam SEED. And with its popularity and big world, we could possibly be getting another installment in the future. For now, let's have the new series/new timeline its spotlight.
