A fun extra level of silliness, for those not familiar with Tengen Toppa, is that many of those Gurren Lagann mechas are piloted by the previous smaller variant. It's not a pilot in a giant mecha, it's a mecha piloting a mecha piloting a mecha piloting a mecha piloting a mecha piloted by a pilot. Like a hilarious case of stacking Russian dolls.
The show has no restraint. It just revels on repeatedly escalating things.

I believe gurren lagann is like... closer to 10-15 meters? I'll try and dig up some information but it towers over some structures and over people a lot of the time. Very happy to see _Battletech_ getting some recognition with the Timberwolf, although I'm a little disappointed it wasn't followed up by the Atlas or Annihilator. If this video is all about mechs going big it seems only logical that those beasts of assault mechs should get some mention.
Still, its nice to see the series and its fanbase gaining more visibility and popularity these days. Its a nice change of pace from the overzealous domination _Warhammer 40K_ has had over tabletop games for the last couple decades.
