  • So far it's the final part of the new boot build. Everything is functional and playing. All the other pretty panels can wait.

    I love how this channel relates to the average man with a job, family and his love for SQ all comes together. ❤ keep up the content! Could you do a video on the different ways of taking RTA measurements and how it actually translates to what you hear?

      Sure, that is a very good video for the future.

    I run two of those MRV T707 amps. They are absolutely amazing, thats all i can say. I can run my system at full volume as far as it will go and there is no distortion. The clarity of the sound just amazes me every time i wind my system up. They maybe 23 years old, but they are stunning.

      Have you had them gone through yet? Open them up and make sure the electrolytics are good and aren’t leaking

    You might try putting some heat on that vinyl to see if you can get the wrinkles flattened out. I assume you have either a heat gun or a hair dryer. I don't know for sure, but it's worth a try. 👍

    The crow is probably protecting baby's, smaller birds usually only attack when they are trying to get a predator to go the other way. They know they might die, but are hoping the children live.

      That makes sense.

    You can easily make the blank plates with aluminum flat stock from the hardware store and a drill if you cant find any locally, or if it to much of pain to search for any from China

    Bought myself a SB34SWPL76-4 a couple of days ago. Cannot wait to build a enclosure for the spare wheel!

    I do see one safety-related issue with your fuses.
    If the battery charger were to short out internally the wire is likely to catch fire before that 300 amp fuse blows.
    I see that you ran out of fuse terminals. You might try an inline fuse of about 50 or 60 amps just on that battery charger wire.
    Then you wouldn't even need that 300 amp MRBF. (Unless you think something might ground out that one half of the distribution block. Highly unlikely)

      @RAW-CAt  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah, I was thinking to fuse that wire as well. Most likely will do.

    Why use blank fuses when it’s easier to find actual fuses? If a large power wire breaks and contacts a small ground wire, and if your grounds use ground links instead of fuses, then the small ground wire will melt before the fuse on the large power wire blows

  • @kiklop8362
    @kiklop8362 Месяц назад

    If ever fuse on ground burn / fail than the current will look for another way to ground itself. This would be RCA and that could cause a lot of damage. Yes you can use high A rate fuses but it is not a good solution.

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 Месяц назад +1

      I don't think you're understanding. You're basically saying if one of his ground wires were to burn in two the current will look for another way to ground itself. Ground wires don't just catch on fire so I don't know why you're concerned. Nobody should be worried about that. In case you missed it, those fuses on the ground block are 200 amp and the wires will melt before the fuse does. So it's perfectly fine, nothing at all to worry about.

      @@JasonWW2000 yeah that is why fuses are normaly used on negative wires...

      You try to be funny, but you're only showing "lack of understanding".
