Jimmy with those hettich quadro v6 drawer runners. You need a 6mm hole in the drawer back for the hook to grab into the drawer. That is why they are soft closing and they are a soft close runner.

I LOVE your builds and videos.
Very skilled, very interesting, always innovative.
    BUT -
Not a safety troll but I do suggest protective gear.
Us (biologists) use UV to mutate bacteria, yeast, kill viruses, etc - and burning hot metal produced a LOT of UV.
So beyond the helmet - gloves at least are a must have as your hands are the closest organ to the light... a good jacket designed for welding is also a good idea.
I know, I know 'You just said you don't want to be a safety troll!"
I'm not a troll - I'm an egoist - I want more DIRESTA videos for many many years... :)

Using your wonderful antique jointer is a good thing. Not having guards to cover the the cutter is a bad thing in my opinion. This machine has been used in other videos and your left hand gets way too close to the open cutters and can be easy to loose tract of in some kind of less than favorable event. You are so handy and fabricating a swing away guard it could be worth your effort. Just not for your safety but also the talent that works with you. " Safety doesn't happen by Accident". Please take time for Project Jointer Guards, Make a video and make us feel safe. Thank You
