The defree to which these promo sketches for “Unfrosted” are so much funnier than “Unfrosted”, itself, is kind of depressing. Someone other than Jerry clearly directed these (and maybe wrote them, too?) and brought out his best and it’s just genuinely more funny and well-done. If only there were any other examples of really funny comedy where Jerry’s comedic voice is being used but he’s not directing and calling the shots and not being told “no” by anyone. If such a thing existed, that might serve as further evidence that he’s better-suited in the “actor as part of the big picture” role…ah, well. Too bad there isn’t…
