    We need more engine options like they have in other countries including diesel 20 miles a gallon was good back in the 1980s

    • @brianhoyt2469
      @brianhoyt2469 2 месяца назад

      15mpg was the avg back in the 80’sm considering this is a mid size truck that’s equal in size to a full size of the 90’s 20mpg is more than adequate. Considering they’re getting 4cyl diesel engine levels of performance from a turbo 4cyl gasoline engine I’d say it’s more than impressive balance between everyday driver and light/mid range off-road capability with far superior appearance than any class competitors. Perhaps people need to compare apples to apples if they’re going to honestly and fairly critique a product.

    I'd rather have the Colorado! I don't like Diesel's! I don't want my personal vehicle sounding like a garbage truck, and they talk about the mileage, but they don't mention, diesel is $5 a gallon!! You're not saving anything!

    Who wants a 4 cylinder truck?

  • @Skraals
    @Skraals 3 месяца назад +2

    The canyon is a gimmick, get the colorado instead. Only diff between the 2 is the white interior, solely a color scheme, white for an off-roader 😅 and the front facia of the truck. Yet somehow the price is so much steeper with the GMC...rip off, no extra leather surfaces or anything more luxurious. Its the same exact truck for 20k canadian in price differences.
    At4x vs Zr2 is what im talking about.

      @@lildrummer08 there’s a lot of RUclips videos on carbon build ups concerning DI engines and what it will do.
      As for water pump being electric right underneath the hot turbo, we’re not talking longevity here with the kind of temperature an engine creates especially turbos, my “guess “ that electric water pump has a less than 5 year life span. Chevy/GM has not released any data or specs on that electric water pump to my knowledge, maybe someone can chime in on that.
      I really like that Chevy 2.7 engine and what it can do. But am more Leary of that water pump over the carbon build up, at least you can use an oil separator catch can to avoid carbon build up, but ones that electric water pump goes, it’s over…
