- AeroFoam has leaped ahead in the industry with the 105mm L-39 Albatros, a model worthy of being the best in its class. It is professionally designed to turbine foam standard -- tough airframe structure, simple assembly, scale appearance, quality and high performance. This inspiring model will leave you looking for more after every single flight. Its massive high-performance 105mm 12-blade EDF creates an unrivaled turbine-like swoosh that echoes through the skies. It features a complete lighting package with several LEDs, like the nose taxi and navigation lights.
It is built with the latest innovative hight-density EPO foam formulated to foam turbine jet specifications , making the airframe strong, rigid, and much more durable than other EPO variants! To make transportation and storage much easier, the wings are installed and secured with a set of screws. Designed from the ground up, all-metal landing gears integrated JP-Hobby electric brake system feature robust quality, reliability and scale retraction. Landings are a breeze with the latest scale-shock absorption feature. Lastly, it is propelled by a 44.4V (12S) power system togethered with a high-voltage 12S 160A ESC.
For best performance, we recommend using a 12S 44.4V 4000+mAh 40C+ lithium polymer battery setup. Two 6S 22.2V 4000+mAh 40C lithium polymer batteries in series will work exceptionally well.

Love the sound!! Those JPs make an amazing sound!
Thanks Ray….I’m pretty impressed with it myself, thanks for watching 👊🏼🔥
Beautiful job with your mods Jeff. Really like how tidy and organized it is.
Thanks so much!! I’m
A stickler for detail and neat, some call it OCD, it’s a cure lol, thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
Those JP fans really sound amazing!!!
Thanks Matt, really brings this jet to life IMO👊🏼👊🏼
@@JeffsCustomRC agreed!!
Thanks Jeff
Thanks for watching 👊🏼
Looks awesome Jeff 👌 sounds amazing 👏 😀
Thanks Roy!! Flys great 👊🏼👊🏼
About time! Great work Jeff! 👏
Love it buddy 👊🏼👊🏼
great looking jet!! nice flight too!!!
Thanks so much👊🏼
Man You're getting Good. That is FLUCKING Beautiful Buddy. NICE WORK...!!!👊👊
Thanks buddy!!! Gotta stay up with the game 👊🏼👊🏼
That Horizontal Blender sounded “smooth and whistley!” Now that you have it all trimmed out it’s time to test the full throttle dives from way up high! What could possibly go wrong? Ummm….. rephrase….You film it and I will test the high speed dives because your a better camera man!👍🏻🤣🔥
🤣🤣🤣
Very nice Jeff, beautiful model and great flight. Glad to see the success!
Thanks so much David!! Really flys great and looks beautiful in the air. Banana Hobby is really stepping up the game, thanks for the support 👊🏼👊🏼
Great flight brother Jeff! Very neat set up...I like it. If I remember correctly my buddy uses two 6000's a bit further back than you have yours. I also think he's running the stock fan. Great giant edf! Awesome video my friend!
Thanks Adam, the new HRN’s 6200’s are 40gms. each lighter than the older 6000’s, and are 100C, so hence the placement. I’m really impressed with the performance of these new packs, I’m 62 or 5200 so far, especially considering the lower weight. Thanks as always for the support👊🏼👊🏼
HI JEFF THANKS FOR SHARING THIS GREAT JET WITH US SIR. 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩🤙🏼👍🏼
Happy to do it buddy👊🏼👊🏼🇺🇸
Great flight Jeff zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA or LA Jeff
Thanks LA JEFF👊🏼👊🏼
Love it. I'm just having a hard time justifying spending that much on a foam plane.
I get it…however these are really nice and harder foam, the gear are JP, and you have the ability to put in a real turbine if you should ever choose too, and they fly fantastic, you’ll really like it👊🏼
Jeff I have the arctic camo one about ready for maiden. I added an 3d printer larger Cheater vent in the bottom AND used the original belly mounted Cheater vent on the fan hatch up top. My theory is it needs more vent area to feed my JP 105mm as well as reducing the velocity of the air coming in the cheater to minimize grass ingestion
Nice!! I’ve had no problems with mine flyin off our grass field with the factory cheater on the bottom, once moving, the air also goes in the intakes on the sides, and I have no issues rotating. Hope all works out for ya. Love how mine flys and handles. She’s floaty and landing flaps help, just be sure to add some down elevator mix. Your gonna love it👊🏼
Great Job on this airframe. I will wait for your review on "Bones" before I order one. I expect you to be honest an give this model review based on performance and ease of build because of the +$800 that is required to purchase this.
Thanks Tug!! Hope it’s gonna fly as well as the J-65, but I know the XFLY quality will be awesome!! Thanks for watching 😀👊🏼👊🏼
Great Jet Jeff! What kv is the JP and what brand hv esc 160 are you running? Thanks!
Fan is 875KV, and the ESC is a V-Good 160amp , with a 10A SBEC, hope this helps👊🏼👊🏼
Nice flying. In my opinion. JP fans looks cool, sounds great. However, the fan output thrust is mediocre compared to stock fans that came with some of the models. I have installed two 90mm JP fans on the Freewing F4 and F16. So far, the F4 flew slower and had worse climb rate than the stock fan that it came with. I had to remove the JP fan and put the old one back.
Absolutely!! The JP fans typically have more top end, but less thrust on low end, but man do they sound good, and I fly very scale, so……. Thanks so much for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
How many amps is yours pulling? Mine only pulls 99-103amps but should be pulling at peak 130amps on the JP Hobby setup that is in the V2 PNP.
Can’t say as I’ve actually tested it but it flys great on 2 HRB red label 6200 packs. Hopefully when weather gets better and I can fly it again I can test and see👊🏼👊🏼
great flight Jeff What gyro are you using
Thanks!! I’m using the cortex pro from Barvarian Demon, which can be purchased through Banana Hobby as well. Thanks for watching 👊🏼👊🏼
What does the plane weigh ?
I believe approximately 12 or 13lbs. Thanks for watching 👊🏼
It sure sucks up a lot of stuff through the cheaters
Yeah…it’s the time of year for dead dry grass, be glad when things get green again 👊🏼👊🏼
