Really love this video, you really conveyed your process so well. Thank you 😊 it’s a beautiful painting
wow thats a really big canvas :0 the painting made me feel very nostalgic, it reminds me of looking through the car window on long road trips when I was a kid, I used to look at the fields and imagine all kind of images and stories. Very inspiring video, love it :D
Great to watch. Easy listening. Thank you

Wonderful artwork. I am a beginner, I noticed your words about limited palette, not more than 4 colors. Awesome, that is why your colors are so vibrant.

Hi Clair, I just found your channel and it was lovely to watch your process and hear a fellow Aussie accent!
Very beautifull..i love it
Great video from a wonderful channel.
Art books have provided me a much-needed escape from real life. When life was difficult I'd set up my easy chair with coffee, a desk lamp and a stack of art books beside me. They kept me going during the hardest times. My art books are the best investments I ever made.
My 4 favorite books are:
- Wonderworks by Michael Whelan
- Spectrum 25 by John Fleskes
- Infinite Worlds by Vincent DiFate
- Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson
Its awesome ma'am
I love painting large, I have done several murals!
Nice work ❤
Wow it's really awesome work keep it up god bless you dear stay connected 🌹❤
I love this Clair, you are so confident and expressive. Your loose style is so hard for me, I try and try and will keep trying.
Thanks for the inspiration 😀
Do you have favourite soft brushes for acrylic. 🦋
Hi, thank you ☺️ To be honest I mostly use cheap brushes, I am. It a very good brush parent and tend to keep them floating in water for too long 😂
I just by basic, synthetic acrylic brushes mostly
Fabulous painting Clair. Do you varnish your paintings? Thank you for sharing (-: Marion
Hi, thank you. And yes, I do varnish them. I use a basic gloss varnish ☺️
I noticed you didn’t put gesso or some undertone paint. Doesn’t the canvas absorb all that paint?
The canvas was already given a few coats of Gesso before I began filming ☺️
@@ClairBremnerArt Ahhhh. I feel relieved and assured. ❤️
How do you get the acrylic paint out of your clothes?
You don’t 😂 Once it is dry it’s never coming off, but if you catch it while it’s wet you can sometimes get it out by rinsing under water.
@@ClairBremnerArt Someone needs to invent something to get it out. Think of all the clothes that have been ruined...
@@intuitiveinspiredart4366 hehhh. It is a glue and it takes 500 years to degrade. It is an excellent quality in a painting. So , use some old disposable rags when you paint.
Pierre Bonnard was a very important post-impresssionist painter, so worthwhile to respect by not butchering his name - it's pronounced "Pee-air Bon-are", emphasis on second syllables; close enough for a non-french person. No disrespect to yourself intended. ; )
thank you! I am terrible at pronouncing names at the best of times let alone French ones!! LOL
