hello they're actually updating the game TOO fast (sentences tf2 players thought they'd never hear). this video is for everything BEFORE the newest july 25th patch. (so it only covers july 12 - 24)

a rushed video is forever bad, but a delayed video is eventually good. don't settle for a mere 75 player server, wait until an optimization mod gets released so we can have the full 100 player experience. it will be glorious

@@endaburns2121 That can be a big problem if some asshole puts a teleporter exit inside spawn. Enemy spies can get into your spawn and spawncamp you.

Valve fixed this exact same kind of bug on de_train years ago, except that was pigeon instead of a seagull

Headcannon: the troll got so mad and sad he couldn't do this anymore his profile literally changed to the sad face
The seagull exploit reminded me of a very similar exploit in CS:GO. When they fixed it there, they put a sign saying to not ride on birds or something like that.
That was on DE_Train
For those that don't know what happened:
In a Pro match (I think). A player on the T side, ran from Spawn at start of the round and jumped onto the flock of birds. The birds acted as a Solid mesh (?) And the player flew into the sky, with the birds. I think the issue was there was a trigger area that did not get setup properly and the players exploited the trigger and ended up taking a ride. The change was made to the map and the sign added to act as a kind of "in joke" to those that saw or knew about it.

@@jamesdevine02 Because Shounic has not sold out like others have. Classic RUclips was about "Broadcast Yourself" and not "Shill Yourself". Shounic is an oldie but a goodie like that by keeping to the creed of the original pre google pre pewdiepie platform.
fun fact regarding the longer engineer high five taunt delay: the engineer actually uses a "short" version of the taunt, and the full taunt version lasts the exact amount of time this erroneous delay lasts for. so they set the delay to this longer version and never changed it back once they switched the animation to the quicker version.
there's a potential chance the game is still calculating the length to be the longer version, as the short version has _short added to the end of the animation name, while the longer version lacks it.
2:00 Medic also has this problem, but on the Skullcracker partner taunt. So much end lag and it's still there.
I saw the update to prevent airblast trolling in mvm. I did not know they also addressed the issue related to party shenanigans which prevents the upgrade menu usage.
That's big for mvm players. Good job, Steve the Intern.
We're still waiting on one change to a singular line of code in MvM.
Whenever the bomb carrier (or any robot) has been stuck for long enough, it will die, using the function takedamage. I am not confident that the "spawning bots immune to airblast" will be effective in this.
What I mean by this is that that function needs to be changed to dosuicide, based on the activities of certain groups that Valve for some reason won't give a Cease and Desist

@@MrSonny6155 None of this is difficult, community fixes have been on the workshop for a VERY long time. 99% of these bug fixes are either with brand new stuff or clicking four buttons (yeah complex stuff i know)
@@risa1467 And this isn't impossible either. Or just do what half the community has been begging for for awhile:
- Airblast doesn't exist in Two Cities or Expert
- Knockback Rage doesn't exist in Two Cities or Expert
- Scorch Shot can't be equipped
Basically robots can't take knockback.
They better add a sign that says "Do not ride seagulls" into the map
All these fixes really bring hope about TF2's future.
99% of them are done by the community mappers. the only valve updates here were the achievement menu, contracker, and playercount. its not nothing but the mad props really belong to mappers for fixing stuff so fast!
oh and also the mvm fix was valve
The contracker bug doesnt fix anything for TF2s future, if the future of the game is about sweating so that even the slightest funny glitch gets a hard nerf because of 1 class, then its not a good future.
Rocket jumping was a glitch, you wanna remove that?

Rocket Jumping might have been a glitch from the start (or more of an oversight that a glitch) but it has been worked around, fixed, and balanced to create the funny trolliders today. Unfortunately, this ConTracker glitch made the game pretty unbalanced and unless there is a workaround, should be fixed.

do they really though? nothing of substance came out and valve had little to do with anything that was added (maps/skins... SO FUN!)
No gameplay changes... many weapons are still boring messes despite a billion fixes recommended by the community.
I'm gonna be convinced valve has us out to dry until an actual update happens with new contracts and buffs to the many useless weapons, class or heavy updates, ANYTHING OF ACTUAL SUBSTANCE. Skins and (broken) maps are nothing but a simple appeasement.
I love the minor detail of the troll's avatar being happy when the glitch worked, and sad when it was fixed.

small note about the spawn room in cashworks: normally a spawnroom set to any change their team depending on the spawnpoints inside however the respawnroom visualizer only updates if its listed after the respawnroom in the vmf
ah interesting. so it was probably working fine in previous versions. i was wondering how they fucked it up between versions. thanks :)
@@shounic So, a spawnroom which changes team affiliation, like Red's initial spawn on Upward, would have to be marked as any, and have its respawnroom visualizer's code located after it in the VMF?

At 3:02 there seems to be a rendering bug, where the door frame behind the stops sign gets rendered infront of it
It exists on every map as far as i know, its a source rendering issue

I had no idea the contracker even had an animation. I've never seen anybody use it before
I believe you have to equip it in your loadout for the animation to play
Yep, it has to be in your Utility slot. It appears on your butt, and plays a sound effect, with an accompanying visual effect, when you earn progress on your current contract. Then, if you open the Contracker menu, your character plays an animation of taking it out and pondering it.
It was a fairly common sight during Jungle Inferno, and watching Heavies move around while pondering it by using the bug was always hilarious.

With the new 100 players servers it would be nice to checl what could cause a crash due to the excess of some entities spawning, like what happened with the shooting gallery during scream fortress.

AFAIK you *can* do a brief contracker glitch by using this command:
bind [any bind] "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1; cyoa_pda_open 1; wait 350; cyoa_pda_open 0; wait 400; cl_first_person_uses_world_model 0"
note:
1. the "cl_first_person_uses_world_model" is for checking only
2. why "cyoa_pda_open 1; wait 350" instead "cyoa_pda_open 1; wait 5" are because your classes just put it back instead holding it and make you "stuck" in that pose for a while
3. explains 2 a bit, the "wait 350" is depends of which classes that have faster or slower taking the contracker. 350 is Soldier, Heavy, Pyro, and Sniper animation lengths

Guess this video answered whether BLU could enter RED's spawns in Cashworks if the door was held open for them. They can't... but I am making an assumption here and could be wrong.

I'm sad they fixed the contracker bug, it was funny to run around as a glowing sniper staring at his phone, but I understand why they had to patch it out.
Maybe they'll add something back in some day so it can be as harmless as A-posing.
I’ll never forget the time I went to ctf well did the contracker exploit as demo then watched a sniper try to headshot me, he then went for his melee, that’s when I double donked him as I laughed so hard
