Bill Paxton, a man that helped create so many of my absolute favorite movies from the 80's and 90's and thus gave me so much enjoyment and great memories. He'll never know this about some guy who grew up in Northampton and is now living in Burton-upon-Trent in England, but I certainly won't be the only one that feels this way. I'll never forget when he was a soldier and he was saying to Ripley, " ... man they're gonna come in here man, and THEY'RE GONNA COME IN HERE AND KILL US MAN...". Not a wonderful line, but his delivery was fucking great. Hopefully he will be spotted hanging out with Bogart, Elvis , Dean & Marilyn... & it only took me 2 years to find out! Many who look at this seem to come to the conclusion that he wasn't that much of an actor because he seemed to simply be natural. Nonetheless, there is always a reason behind such a big success. His main strength was his elusive ability to make the movies he starred in great. He was a master in improving the atmosphere on the set and making people around him shine due to his love for the job and his respect for other actors. To me, he was/is one of Hollywood's best!

Saw your previous comment. We were already thinking about it, and that sealed the deal. Great suggestion!

Frailty is one of my favorite movies of all time. I can't think of many movies creepier than that. I won't ruin it for anyone. Go watch it.
God bless, Bill. We miss you.

Where are all the Bill Paxton's now? This world is so full of garbage humans now that are glorified for their wealth and not their character that people are starting to realize that people like Bill Paxton were legends. There are no more movie stars like him anymore. This man was iconic in everything he played. He never complained to his fans, i didn't know his politics or about his private life. He is so underrated for his talent. I have no doubt that if he were still alive today, he'd be killing it in life. His death is an absolute tragedy. Gone too soon.
    ❤RIP Bill Paxton legend

It may be Game Over for you, but it's never Game Over for your legacy. RIP Bill Paxton.

I love all his big movies, grew up in the 80’s so maybe he’ll always be Chet to me 😂 but Frailty is just fantastic. That and U571 are my Wife’s two favorite movies. He elevated everything he was in.

What a career he had. He was a part of many of the biggest, most important films of the past 30 years. And he was great in many other lesser known films too. What stood out for me about him is he wasn't afraid to take on whatever his role required, even if it was sometimes at at his own expense. One of my favorites of his was the 1992 film One False Move.

Outstanding actor. And films like Twister showed he had leading man prowess as well. I miss Bill Paxton.

One my favourite actors ever. He always brought a special energy to the screen. The only one (to my knowledge) to have the honor of being a part of the three best action franchises (Terminator, Alien & Predator) all in good movies I might add. An absolute legend RIP

Ahhh our beloved Hudson loved Bill's performances in all these movies. He was so great in True Lies, as the punk in Terminator as the lead in Twister our favorite badass Marine in Aliens who redeems himself and goes out in a blaze of glory. I thought he did an incredible job directing The Greatest Game Ever played. Wish he had done more directing. The guy just seemed like such a great dude. He will be missed.

Bill was my neighbor in Santa Monica for several years, down to earth friendly guy. He told me his first film was "Fish Heads" a rare music video from Barnes & Barnes.
