I'd say the main things that made this game so awesome were
1: The cool plot
2: A BUNCH of comic book characters
3: The awesome combat system

Yeah but the graphics didn’t age well and there are lots of bugs.

I never had trouble with bugs. There was only one issue, but it never shut down the game.
It was when you learn to use your spider sense against the thugs. Right before the cutscene it would freeze for about 5 seconds, but then keep going.
I think it was because the disc was a little damaged when I got it, but it was perfect otherwise.
I love this game. I wish it was available for new consoles.
the attention to detail here is awesome. they even show wolverine's healing factor being overwhelmed by spidey's strength, which is a thing in the comics. this game is one of the most comic book accurate spider-man games out there, and easily one of the best spidey games out there

i think james has even said that spidey punches so hard it's like he could feel his brain bounce around in his skull. don't quote me on that tho as im not 100% sure

The only good thing about the Wii version was the alternate suits because I had it on the Wii and I sold it, got a Xbox 360 with the game for the 360

@@AnteikuCafe I think he/she trying to say that the fighting skills won't be realistic. in web of shadow, the way he fights was awesome but it's impossible to do it in real life, so in spider-man PS4, they made some realistic fighting so the game looked bit real just saying.

I love how each character that got the symbiote on them, got a unique design. Sometimes they get lazy and just make them look like venom.

This takes me back in time, I remember playing this on my Xbox 360 when I was 7 or 8. I am 20yrs old now and the nostalgia hits like crazy
I played at 10 but I kept playing it in middle school on occasion. I'd honestly still play it now

Having Two of my favourite superhero in the game was the best part
The camera angles during the fight scenes are amazing! Very different from other games during the time and make it look much more advanced of a game.

Did you know that Spiderman is the only superhero that can defeat Wolverine. Because Wolverine is indestructible, unless Spiderman uses special adamantium weaving webbing and Spiderman therefore tightly cages Wolverine via the usage of adamantium webbing.

First I watch this, than Shattered dimensions then Edge of Time. These games got better and better every 2 or 3 years. And then the 2018 game, which was the best so far, real winging action, an 8.5/10 easily. Good stuff MK!!!

Because plot.
Wouldn't do him any good. Cut symbiote appendages can move on their own and return to the original host, and the symbiote can heal the cut part on the body. So dismembering one is impossible

@Abdurrahman for sure absolutely. Politics ruin enough things in this world as it is I wouldn’t dare consider putting that in a game. But yes man I would’ve love to see a sequel to web of shadows. The main villain without a doubt should be carnage, and maybe they could tie it in with shattered demisions? That’s probably thinking too far ahead but they could pull that off
