The web rush was the only good thing from the swings on those games. You have no momentum in TASM 2, in TASM 1 the web is attached on the moon. Spider man 2 from the PS2 was ugly, but did a wonderful job in the swing mechanics and the PlayStation games took it as a lesson, and upgraded it. So opinion is opinion, but facts are facts, TASM 1 and TASM had outdated swing mechanics
